Useful introduction to canal history, and the importance of linking Sraffordshird and Worcester canal to the Birmingham Canal Network. Bypassing the M6
Interesting video, I used to use the road at calf heath across bridge 5 and four crosses bridge every day for commuting and didn't realise the bridges had subsided that much (i assumed they'd been replaced at some time), also in Stafford we don't pronounce Hednesford as hed-nes-ford it's pronounce hens-ford.
nature needs all canals to be restored and reopened more money for tourism and people and small towns,,, more fishing and more wildlife ,, we need all towns all big or medium sized towns to have a canal

History of a part of the canal system beautifully narrated.
Its a pity the northern reaches of the Lancaster restoration hasn't got somebody like David to give it a boost, well done to you all.
History is cool
