If I've learned one thing from this... unconventional life... it's that you have to protect your faith in your future like your life depends on it. Because it does.
I think everybody has that voice in their head that tells them they're meant for something bigger, that they're destined for success or greatness of some sort. So, should we listen to it?
Looking back on my life, it was the times when I wasn't listening to it that were the worst. The tension between who I was and who I could've been grew stronger as the gap between them grew larger. And the reason I would ignore the voice was in no small part due to my subscription to the idea that ambition was indicative of 'big ego' or some BS like that. Most of the time, it's just internalised tall poppy syndrome.
Nearly dying marked a turning point in my life, I took back control of the ship, but when the waters got rough, I nearly capsised. Not because of my steering but because I kept letting the sea of doubt get inside.
    Don't let it get inside.
    Channel overview:
A few years ago, I was stuck in bed, hating the universe for subjecting me to the 'sick and twisted game of life' without my consent. I was pathetic.
It was only after I realized something very important that things began getting better... life didn't suck; I did.
In the absence of friction, my mind was conjuring its own, so life was hard, yes, but it didn't have to be. The suffering was unnecessary. After a few years of incremental progress, I'm having the time of my life. I've never been in better shape, my mind has never been sharper, I've never experienced so much happiness, and it's all rooted in a deep sense of meaning that was once absent.
I had to shake myself of lots of old beliefs and patterns to get to where I am, and I believe there are millions of other people who feel stuck and could learn from my mistakes. So that's why I'm starting this channel: to share some of the insights that formed the foundation of the psychological habitat I now occupy.
I don't know exactly how the channel will develop but I'm going to start by posting my raw ideas as that's the only thing I can consistently do at this point in time.
    I hope it helps!

I'm a girl, 15 years old. I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma cancer at the beginning of 2022. I finished my treatment, and the doctors said I was cancer-free. It came back again in July 2023, had my treatment all over again. And now, It's back again! For the third time. And like Angelo said "Go hard or go home"... I chose to undergo this painful treatment again, in hopes I would recover one day, or die knowing that I fought. I love your videos, you're an amazing person, Angelo :) your words were something I didn't even know I needed! thank you! sending you nothing but love.

Yes, I’m from India, where the conventional path is to go through school, then college, get a job, have children, and take on all responsibilities. Ultimately, you leave this body as you had just a moment ago. This is the typical Indian mindset, where there's no room for adventure or risk-just following the path everyone else takes. It feels like a never-ending cycle where we realize that, in this vast universe, we’re just following societal rules and norms without question.
In today's chaotic world, we rarely have a chance to pause and think about what we truly need or what matters most to us. If we do, people might judge and criticize us. Despite this, I am taking a pause this year. I just graduated from high school in April and am still unsure about my future. My goal this year is to change myself daily and prepare for the entrance exam to get into Delhi University (LSR) next year.
      insightful vdo 💚🤍

@@vandanakotnala2992 agree , i took a break last year due to an accident , but i got time because of that , i am really ambitious ,so i explored different things , like coding, vidoe editing ,etc instead of traditional jee ,started reading some books , watched podcasts, focused on my health, played a lot of games too, studied different topics which interests me due to that i am a lot wiser than before i feel , and this year i got into tier 3 college ( computer science) for the sake of degree which i rarely go to , i just study at home mostly .although i am unsure about my futre too but I got 3 years to be whatever i want . My only advice is don't waste time and make the most of it , explore other things too instead of just studying for entrance exams . i feel like yapped a lot , soorry for that.

This is about the most inspiring thing I've ever watched. This shows how much more life I need to live and how much I need to throw myself into experience, turmoil and fear. Main takeaway: Never stop throwing yourself at the wall of life and live as deeply and with as much raw passion as possible.

I rarely comment in videos, if ever. But here goes.
Angelo, It's been a while since a video has brought me to the verge of tears, resonating with so many of the stories and words.
Our stories differ by millions of degrees, but are alike in many others, the biggest difference is you had the courage, blind faith perhaps?, to take your dreams on, one by one. Failing, and getting up.
I've achieved a lot at my age, and I'm happy, as I've worked to get where I am, nearly completely by myself. But I always have that feeling of "This isn't it, I can do more, do better".
I can't say for sure that this will ever change, but after being diagnosed with a life threatening lung disease, I've felt distanced from my dreams, rushed to accomplish more in a shorter time, instead of living life as it is. All the ideas I've had have been put on hold because, "I can't put time into this" or "I need to focus on that".
I can't say your video is life changing, but, I will say, You've inspired a part of me to want to try again, regardless of the failures that might come in the future.
Here is to a cheers, on life and its abundance of highs and lows.
I'll chase the highs again, embrace the lows like old friends, and keep striving towards my dreams.
Your few words have really made my day.
    Thank you.

I'm at a point of my life where everything seems hopeless & the future seems dark for me. Thank you so much, because I was never able to put it into words, I just couldn't do anything different than trying, and whenever I gave up and tried to not try anymore, I got depressed and numbed myself with drugs and food... actually today, standing up there on a mountain somewhere on an island in Norway, I thought, well there is a life back there, I could go back there, I could have it easy for just a year or two... and then the wind started rising and I screamed against it and thought...no, I just need more of this, I need to keep trying even if all of my income has gone and I do not know how to get anywhere if there is no money for fuel or to feed my dog... but I believe in something... and YOU and YOUR video, this message, it means the world, thank you!

After moving out of my parents' house with no job and no money, I needed time to recover from a rough childhood. I hated how much my past affected my life and future. I was afraid that taking a job would mean settling for less and abandoning the ambitions I had as a child. So, I started a business in engineering and product development as a way to educate myself now that I was mentally stable enough to truly commit. I saw personal growth like never before.
Two years later, I'm still struggling, but things are heading in the right direction. I'm actually getting clients and I'm being involved in big projects. I often relate to thoughts of giving up and living a normal life, but I just can't. Your video is a great motivation to keep going. Keep it up!

Dang man, talk about perfect timing. The line, "'making it' can only ever teach you something about the world, but going hard, trying, regardless, can teach you something about yourself" is beautiful. This video could have given me a few months of my life back that I wasted by giving up, but it's great even now that I'm back on the train of trying. I made the decision to try, regardless, about a year ago, and it's necessary, in my opinion. I could kid myself and make it seem like an everyday job is right for me, but knowing that I'll always keep trying for my dreams gives me another way out of feeling down - confidence. Confidence that, if nothing else, I will learn who I am throughout my struggles. There are ups and downs, and it's hard to see past them, but if you can feel satisfied with the journey of knowing yourself, then every step you take in life, up or down, will be a step further into that discovery.

I started a business, got educated, suffered and endured the fails and experience of running a business. At 15, 16 my business was on the moon. I thought I'd become successful at last. During my last days at 17.. Everything changed, business was not running, lost most of my friends, was in a high degree psychological trauma, ended relationships. Felt like a failure. Man, "you will reach back through time and alchemise that suffering into something incredible, sometching rare, something you... maybe its not about getting rewarded, maybe its about living beautifully". Honestly, up until watching this I'd had a pretty rough week. After a rather confusing end to a relationship with a girl, who I thought to be the love of my life, I'd been moping pretty hardcore; letting it effect how I trained for my sport, studied for my degree, and interacted with my friends. But those words made me think... perhaps, it wasn't meant to be, but also perhaps, the beauty that I lived whilst it lasted was what it's all about regardless. Thankyou bro, never stop making these/following your dreams.

I really appreciate you made this video Angelo. This helps more than you can imagine, well I think You can. A lot of what you said in this video resonates with me and I'm happy I clicked on it in the first place. It's what you said in the beginning that hit hard; "if you succeed, it's divine intervention, but if you fail it's delusions of grandeur". I feel like ever since I was young up until now at 18 years old, I had those dreams that I was destined to become something great. That I could be so much more.
But the thing is, I was scared.
So much time wasted on escaping that inner voice that I know is right, trying to guide me towards the right path. Partying, drugs, drinking, thoughts of settling down and just be like everybody else, normal. I was looking to just set my body on autopilot. I was scared of failing, therefore I was even scared of trying. I did not take action up until now because of that.
I'm going to fight, even if it means failing over and over again. Because it is not about winning. It's about the road and not the destination.
I only need to be right once.
    Thank you.

I feel this so much. I spent the last 5 years doubting my path and hating my current job, but also striving for and learning how to become a designer. I am so proud of what ive learned and done so far, but I also feel miles away from the true success of being a designer, and struggling to find a job. I've been contemplating just going back to my other job, and trying to find the bright side of it....and just doing design on the side. Self doubt is so damn real.

I didnt know I was watching a video from someone with less than 10k subs. The quality is insane my bro. Also the message you conveyed resonateed with me. As someone who's at a point of his life where doubt, feelings of being a failure, fear of my dreams remaining only dreams, fear of everyone being right about me, I needed this. thanks man. Really.
I've been telling myself these days that this is the point in life where every entrepreneur doubts himself and almost quits but doesnt quit. I'm gonna do the same inshaAllah, not quit. Idk what the future holds but the only thing in my hands is to work hard. Thannks again.

I think you've reached such an important point on all this staff about self improvement, the fact that the feeling that you are in a search of something bigger is what makes you wake up every morning more than the goal itself. It's a way of living. Love the way you you edit and express yourself, i'm quite sure that you are going to make big things. New sub

Today I turned 22, I'm sitting and watching your video that fell out in the recommendations and I'm almost crying. I had a pretty bad year, during which my music career almost collapsed, I continued to fight and did everything to prevent this from happening, but eventually stopped getting any tangible response from people in my art and got lost in what I want to do. My other work like making videos what I love to do is also go bad for now. I'm in a precarious position. And I lost my job before, just like you in past. Your video gave me the strength to move on, I let out a tear at the moment when you were broken by circumstances and fell into a pit with drugs and alcohol, I'm glad that you got out of it, this is the worst thing you can resort to, and fortunately I know this not from personal experience, despite the fact that I suffered a lot of failures. As you said, there can be one day from megalomania to greatness, and I will work hard and make every effort to make that day come.
Many sincere thanks to you, Angelo. Good luck on your way, and good luck to all of us, the path of a creative independent person is one of the most difficult in my opinion, but it is our decision to be like this and pursue our dreams no matter what. Stay strong and keep fighting!

I totally resonate with this Angelo, I felt the same thing when founding a startup at the age of 19. Constantly after release and relaunch nothing worked, making no revenue and just burning money that I didn't have for a dream that who knew was even gonna work. The only thing that kept me going was that warrior's stand, that I wanted to fight, so even if the startup did fail, like you I could say that I also fought, today I'm too am happy I fought. I though this was stupidity that I rejected the notion that if something isn't working, you give up, and that fighting on is foolish, so it felt surreal hearing the same thing spoken about in your video. I want to say thank you for making this video Angelo, it's crazy how many people destined for something huge just get discouraged with the lack of results, and they don't keep fighting, content like this will make them think twice before giving up. - Meeren

Hats off to you brother in the amount of wisdom you gained at such an early age. You went through hardship, but you got it over earlier on than most people. You're 15-18 age phase, I had my own version through 23-27 y/o. At 27 decided to go hard instead of home, and have radically changed my life at 31 y/o. However on the flip side deal with imense stress of entrepreneurship and being a high performer. But would much rather deal with this, than never trying at all and wasting my potential.

I’ve never connected with something more than the last 4 minutes of this video.
I just got sober for the first time in 10 years. Third time quitting smoking. First time giving something 100% focus. But I live it, dream it, breathe it. I’m at the intersection of passion becoming obsession and it’s incredibly lonely. That said I see my future clearer than I’ve ever have before.
