- The gift of strategic networking is of course, not merely confined to the Yi You (乙酉) pillar. Anyone of the 60 pillars can learn this art. But the Yi You, soft and weak on the outside, but possessing of an inner drive and action-oriented approach, perfectly embodies this ability.
In this Bazi 60 Pillars series, let me take you through a journey of discovery with the Yi You or Wood Rooster - your strengths, vulnerabilities to be aware of, how you present to the world at large, and some suggestions to be Yi You, but better.
However, to find out your Day Master, your MUST plot your Bazi Chart. Please feel free to use any of the free online bazi plotters on the internet. My recommended plotter (registration required): www.joeyyap.com/bzchart. You only need the Date of Birth. Time of birth is not necessary for this exercise. Please use your date of birth following the Gregorian Calendar.

Is this only meant for our Day Master? If this is in our Year Pillar, will this analysis be relevant? (Aka, do I look up the 4 Heavenly-Earth pillars for Year, Month, Day, Hour - to get a more holistic understanding of myself?)
Hi MK, this series is more applicable for the Day Master. To a very broad extent, it can be used for the Year, Month and Hour pillars, but the interpretation may differ because then the 10 Gods will be different.
Question: is this the wood rooster or the earth rooster? Because all the YI refers to earth except for this one which you refer to as wood
Hi Anton, Yi is Wood... sounds very close to Ji, which is Earth... sorry!
@@PaulynneCheng i know you know better but my bazi chart shows my daymaster to be yin earth (己）on top and rooster yin metal （酉） at the bottom using joey yap’s bazi calculator. I also tried another calculator just to be sure and shows same characters and in english its says yin earth also. Hence I am confused whether I am wood rooster or earth rooster. Not whether yi is wood and ji is earth.
Unfortunately I cannot post a screenshot for you to understand what I am talking about more clearly.
@@AntonioSy Hi Anton. Oops my bad! Misunderstood your question! Let me confirm it for you - since both calculators says 己酉 - so you are Earth Rooster (Ji You)... you sit on your own Intelligence star! How cool is that?
