Is that the "Purple Special" 😁 How about "Purple Rain" then ? Fun aside, you played great. Because of Brian May I bought and played my first Guitar over 30 years ago.
Thank you! I used a software called amplitube 5 for the amps and effects, the only physical effect in the chain is a treble booster which goes between the guitar and the audio interface!
@@Teo16788 really good. To be precise, this uses a Tonex amp model with amplitube cabs and effects. If you've got Tonex (even the free version should work) it's the 71' AC30 model
Hi there! I'd really love to, but I'm afraid I didn't use any tabs and learned by ear. My version is based on many live versions by Brian through the years, so the only way I can offer is for you to slow down the video through youtube and learn slowly!
Who wants to...etc etc, when etc etc...?) "Grandísimos descubrimientos repentinos supermodernos de la humanidad..." (Que por lo visto "antes no". Aunque todo el mundo "en la calle" supiese que sí...)
@@merlinthomi yeahhh ... they do earn their money, I'll give them that. I've been looking at a Super, would you say this cost a little more or a lot more than that?
@@BD12 It's more than that, I think between the 3000-3500 mark. But it a proper replica of the red special, apart from the top and the colour. The super has some compromises, like the finish on the fretboard and the tremolo bridge which is slightly different. If you're looking for a good guitar which is "in the ballpark", go for the super. If accuracy to the original design is more your thing, I'd look for a luthier! This one was made by Belben guitars, Loxley and Dansan guitars are also very good!
Wow, phenomenal sound and great playing! And a super nice touch on the last solo incorporating elements from the 2022 tour! Congrats!
That's really kind, thank you! Finally someone noticed, of course it would be you! Love your work man!
For things like this, Brian May and the Red Special are the true soul of the Queen group.

Thank you! He was my inspiration to start as well, now nearly seven years ago😁
Congratulations. my friend! How did you get your bridge and tremolo system? RS Conversions?
Thank you! I believe Ben Belben (who built the guitar) got them from RS conversions!
very good job! what amp and pedals did you use? the tone is very close to the original

By chance is it the Thomas Brunkard preset on tonex?
@@nicolasguardado7466 yes it is! Well spotted!
Hi!
Is there a possibility that you could provide the tabs? I Really want to learn this version and plus your cover sounds absolutely amazing

That is a pretty guitar. I'm guessing it has a pretty price tag on it too??
It does, like every luthier made guitars out there!
