That guitar part right after “doors of time” is literally my favorite guitar part ever. It’s so simple but I love it so much and this guy gives it justice! So perfect! God I love Brian May. Genius. The drummer even has Roger’s open high hat snare hit combo going on. That’s a detail that I’ve never seen a drummer covering a queen song ever do. Huzzah! You guys rocked this! Great job!

Seriously, it takes some balls to try to cover this song and do it right which these guys absolutely nailed it. Even minor details they got right. My only complaint and it’s not really a complaint is I was wanting the singer to sing it the live way Freddie did on the Magic tour. Kind of keeping the notes out of the higher register except for once or twice. But it was still great nevertheless.
Covering Queen songs is not an easy feat. Many people underestimate the challenge and end up making half-assed renditions that don't do the originals justice. You guys actually pulled it off. Sure it's not perfect but the actual FEELING is there and that's what counts! Nice work, you guys can be proud of this performance :)
Karl The Fragr queen songs ARE a bitch to cover. You’re right, the passive ear wouldn’t recognize the complexity of most Queen songs. I thought they did great for playing a live version. Even Queen messed up on their own songs live.
