It’s no bury the light, but the more I listen to it the more I like it. It’s actually a unique style we haven’t had for DMC yet as well which is appreciated. That said, it’s absolutely incredible.

the "I will never veil my name" in the vergil segment I think is a reference to how, after their childhood home was attacked, dante changed his name, but vergil didn't.
@@paincodm5540 Eva told Dante to change his name if she didn't make it back to him so he did change it to Tony Redgrave but after the death of Nell Goldstein he went back to using Dante.

May I offer: Vergil obsesses over power and how he inherited it from his father. Whereas Dante rarely ever says his father's name. Idk, just something to consider.

I might be a newer DMC fan(honestly the reboot and 4 were my introduction years ago but recently I was able to get the reboot, HD Collection, 4 SE, and 5 SE all on sale) but even though I'm still improving at the games but nonetheless because of the gameplay and soundtracks DMC is becoming one of my overall favorite franchises. Fire Inside having that early 2000s vibe just seals the deal for me because vocally and instrumentally THIS kind of song is exactly what I listen to on a daily basis. That being said I'm not sure which one I like more Bury The Light or this. BTL was strictly about Vergil but Casey really wasn't wrong when he said Fire Inside was going to be about Vergil and Dantes relationship

It may be my bias, as I'm a huge fan of Vergil, but I loved Vergil's verses, as it really conveys his feeling of not only loneliness, but superiority, I think?
Coming from a writer's standpoint who has based a few characters off of the different sides of Vergil, I loved the "Buried lights and I have hidden all my shame" line, because it shows Vergil's madness and how he feels about himself. Not only that, but "Another casualty, done waiting patiently" to me, feels like Vergil's pursuit of power is taking a toll on his patience and his mind in all, and as a writer, I love that.
This may sound like nonsense to anyone who reads this, as I am probably just crazy, but that's my insight and opinion. Overall, I fucking love this song

I feel like the best way I can describe Fire Inside is it feels like a DMC3 battle track fused with the essence of Bury the Light and Devil Trigger
For me it’s fused with Subhuman and Bury The Light
@@dominoxbelovaxv177 Yeah it definitely feels like Devils Never Cry fused with Subhuman for Dante's part, Bury the Light for Vergil and V and some notes of Devil Trigger here and there. It feels almost like they asked Casey to do DMC5's soundtrack as if it was DMC3's and him and Victor nailed it.

I don't have any smartphone devices and kinda don't need them right now, so wouldn't be fun to spend just for DMC (altough I bought PS4 for Bloodborne and DMC5 essentially)

Not DNC but no proper PC port is going to happen that's the only thing I know for sure.
The last I heard was in Jan 2023 where one of the devs in the official discord server mentioned they were still working on the PC edition (which I covered in a video). Not heard anything since then but I imagine it will be out eventually.
They revealed in their recent stream, that on their official website they will have official emulator for pc.

Respectfully, I love this wayyyyy better. Bury the light felt too hardcore for me this was more melodic but still giving the hardcore rock feel I love the harmonization most of all in the pre chorus

Great song, I’m not a huge fan of the corrupt type lyrics but the chorus goes way too hard. Bury the light still reigns supreme of the Casey Edward’s tracks.

its a good song but i don't see it as anywhere near the quality of the best the series has to offer. i'm not a major fan of the lyrics being a bit more on the nose compared to stuff like bury the light, devils never cry ect, i felt those songs lyrics conveyed the journeys and emotions of the characters far better while as this song feels more like a spark notes of each of the characters. For a song about both dante and vergil i feel as though the actual dynamic and feelings the characters have towards each other isn't really touched on in any sort of depth.
music is subjective though and it is still a great song and one i's going to listen to more
What is Trish and Nero doing in devil may cry 3... they revealed way to much in that trailer. Should have kept most that stuff for everyone to see when playing the game.

No offence to BTL fans but i feel like after listening to DNC and FI, BTL is a bit plain and didn't pull its punches, im sorry but you have to remix it to make it actually look good. If i were to rate it:
1) DNC
2) FI
3) BTL

Imma be honest. This sounds trash. I miss the old school industrial tracks from DMC 1, 3, and 4 or even the techno rock from 2. Not a fan of how overproduced and poser-y these Casey Edwards tracks are. I always imagined Dante as the video game version of Blade from the 90s and the music from the earlier games perfectly represented that.
