I was in WonderPens today and we were having a great chuckle over the taters that flock to the store when they get new TCMC stock! (Did you know your Robert Oster ink has sold out there?!). It goes without saying that we all love your stationery, but I feel strongly many of us adore your "brand" because it is so authentically Helen. I really don't know how you did Stationery Fest, but it is now clear that the kindness of those around you is what kept you going ❤

The converter for the Kaweco is incredibly small. I recommend just rinsing out a cartridge and use that as your “converter”. You’ll get better ink capacity this way. Lovely looking pen!
Helen, a Standard/Regular Traveler's Notebook is an A5 Slim. (Your new Tokyo edition is a Standard.) The inserts are stupidly expensive for what they are, but they're dead simple to make - it would be especially easy for you with the tools/machines you have for the shop like the booklet stapler. I find making them, especially with cool/pretty random paper/ephemera for the covers, to be really relaxing. :) So the inserts are 110mm wide x 210mm high. (And of course they're made like a book, with double-wide sheets being folded & stapled/sewn in the middle.) They're usually 30 sheets (60 pages) of paper (whatever kind you like, I love Kokuyo 5mm graph) with a thin cardstock cover. Inserts with Tomoe River paper can run 80-100 pages because it's so much thinner. They also make a Passport size. Standard/Regular and Passport are the only two sizes the official Traveler's Company brand makes. But there are plenty of other companies/people/etsy shops that make their own covers, and they do them in every size imaginable, with lots of customizations like inside pockets, tons more bands, having a spine twice as thick so someone can slip in a full-year journal, that kinda thing. The brown one you have with the lovely painting on the front looks to be a Standard with a wide spine, so it can handle 4+ inserts plus some slip-in pockets or slip-in photo PVC and still have all of it fully covered. (I bought some scrap leather off of Temu and am about to make my own Standard cover today.) There *are* etsy shops out there that make traveler's-style covers that will handle your A5 Hobo Cousin, if you really want one. *edit: double-Wide, not double-Side, lol
3:01 Helen, I have recently started refilling old cartridges with my favorite inks with a syringe. I “cap” them with low temp hot glue and store them upright in a recycled metal tin for mints. I can do this every few weeks and have a fresh supply of ink in my office at all times! Sending lots of love to you from Minnesota!
I love "Cute Things from Japan"! I've ordered from them several times (mostly ERIC artwork) and they are always SO wonderful. Their packages and inserts/newsletters are always so thoughtfully done. Pure Joy to get "Happy Mail" from them!

That book How to Make the Best Coffee At Home is by James Hoffmann, who has a wonderful RUclips channel. Definitely worth checking out if you enjoy coffee. And I believe that is called a skein of yarn. It's lovely seeing all the sweet gifts and items you received at this event!

I had a quick glance down the comments and couldn't see anyone who'd answered this question, but apologies if I missed a reply somewhere and someone already gave you the answer. That twisty shape of yarn is called a skein. Most indie dyers tend to wind their yarns in skeins (as do some commercial yarn manufacturers - apparently it stretches the yarn less that way over time than when they wind it into balls before they sell it). Handy hint: you CANNOT knit with yarn straight from a skein. You need to re-wind it into a ball first. I didn't know this when I bought my first yarn skein and OMG everything got SO TANGLED UP and I got SO STRESSED. If someone you know has a ball winder and a swift, you can use those to wind yarn skeins into balls fairly quickly. If not, you can probably find a video on RUclips that shows how to hand-wind it into balls, but that's much slower. Happy knitting! (PS: I often knit while I watch your videos 🙂)

The personalised kaweco is an absolute darling! But fair warning, their converter is teeny tiny 😂. I’m thinking of giving mine away. If you’re ok with filling used cartridges thats a better way to go.

Yeah I didn’t enjoy the converter and love my Kawecos so for now I am using cartridges but I will be filling empties with a syringe eventually
