Great, informative video! Straight to the point, and compact with tips and information! Made it easier for me to decide on what I will buy. Decided for garment steamer as I need to save as many space as possible and I don't wear clothes with heavy fabric. Thank you very much! You deserve more views.
Hi...very informative video.. I used to have a basic garment steamer from inalsa which I used a lot because I mostly use delicate fabrics like silk and lace... but it got damaged after one and half year and not a single repair shop is able to fix it..so here are my two cents..it is mostly preferable for ladies wear or ethnic fabrics and also for people like me who burnt a lot of clothes while ironing or is scared of ironing.. these won’t last long..for harder materials or fir kids uniforms or gents clothing I suggest ironing..a basic iron is much better choice then a stand steam iron...but you can use a hand held steam iron for your delicate materials
So systematically explained. Thank you Ma'am. Came across your channel while searching for the reviews of garment steamer. Your new subscriber here Ma'am.
Hey great video. I was thinking of getting a garment steamer.. but we mainly use cottons and prefer a pressed look with crease. Very informative to help us make informed decision based on our requirement and use case. Can you also do the same for Soup Maker and wet grinder - who would find it useful to invest in these products.
Nice video on garment steamers. I have an Inalsa hand garment steamer. It's not very powerful but does the job of steaming my clothes. The purpose of purchasing the steamer was to make the background cloth in a light tent(used in photography) look smooth. This garment steamer has only 1 setting and a brush attachment. Since I am obese, I need to refill the water tank two times to steam my one kurti. If one is using the steamer at home then a upright steamer is a better choice as you don't have to worry about where to place the garment and refilling water tank. Other than that I have a handheld steam cleaner which also has a garment steamer attachment (I have rarely used the attachment).
Hi Sreelakshmi, thanks for sharing and you validated my analysis on hand held ones :) ! You are so good with these, I feel like I should review my ideas with you before I publish :D
@@TheGrapevineIndia thanks for your reply and I am flattered. I am a person who terribly suffers from gear acquiring syndrome (luckily I am not completely for high priced items (even though they are feature-rich) as my budget is usually very tight). So I have to swim across all the products available online to find the right item which is value for money. Sometimes I have been lucky to get items like the standalone deep freezer, engraved stainless steel measuring bowls and digital timer.
😊 Do let me know if you find something interesting! I’m exactly the opposite- I don’t like too many appliances - and will buy something only if I absolutely need it. That’s why I always create a video so folks can identify if they really need a product before buying. Lot of times, people give into hype.
@@TheGrapevineIndia neither do I like too many appliances. But something happens and I end up buying the appliance. This happened in case of dishwasher (my fingers would turn very cold to handwash) and the freezer (fridge was ok but freezer was not freezing well). I admit these appliances have helped me immensely. But these are appliances which I would think ten times before buying, cOnsidering space and tight budget. While I do try to know about big brands, I do try to find feasible alternatives. Brand name is just a starting point for making a choice and from there I look into competitors. For me features which are most used are the criteria to selecting a product (case is digital timer) Your videos are helping in making quick comparison of certain appliances and ideal for those looking to purchase a new appliance.
Clean & informative reviews👏🏼 Tried searching your page for any reviews on press steam iron, but couldn’t find any. I use both upright & press steam iron…but the press steam irons leaks a lot (over the years, I have used Phillips, Rowenta & Braun). Though Rowenta & Braun output was good, water leaks /pours when using. Can you recommend an iron with steam? I’m based in Dubai
Thank you for a well made, informative video. Isn't using a good upright garment steamer easier/more convenient than using an iron? Have you yourself transitioned to using upright garment steamer for ironing your clothes, or do you find that that garment steamers can't completely replace the regular type of ironing (with a regular iron)?
Hi Saumya, i really enjoy watching all your videos thank you so much for having a clean and clear way of both understanding and explaining things....ps taking into consideration the weather being very distant i guess a heating solution video is warrented...thnx in advance.....
Ur videos r really very informative 👌. I needed a advice on hand held or stick cordless vacuum cleaner not expensive as Dyson v 11.also lighter in weight to handle because with my arthritis ,I cannot hold very heavy machines for long .waiting for ur suggestion.
Hi Sandhya, here is a video I cover that - ruclips.net/video/nW1D8TnSYoM/видео.html. In general cordless vacuums will be heavier than a corded vacuum as the motor and bin will be hand held itself. This model amzn.to/3tKAVLq is one of the lighter ones.

Are garment steamers ideal for pure silk sarees, The ones that are heavily creased and wrinkled?
