My dad lived in Rye Icklesham then Fairlight for many years. I lived in Hastings for two years and loved it there. It gets a bad rap. Was lovely to see the old town and west hill and the sea again. Now my dad lives in France I no longer visit the area but the time I spent there with my baby son was a time of great healing after a relationship breakdown and Hastings will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️
Hastings will always hold a very special place in my heart also… it is definitely up and coming now… not like it was when I was a child… but is changing a little too rapidly i think!
Love love love your videos. They are my peace among all the chaos that is Mum life. I love being a Mum but there is little downtime. I dream of such an existence hopefully soon . My kids are 12 and 14 so soon I will be able to have a window of heaven . Love you . 😍 from Ireland.

Lovely to see the Somerset GlStonbury again. I was last there in 1976 in the Peak of the Heatwave. I was surprised to learn later that the Real Glastonbury is up in the Midlands and either near, or in the Graveyard where all the old British King's were buried, and only a day's relaxed Horseride for the Bishop from Shropshire (no way you could ride down to Somerset in one day from Shropshire) a bit of a shocker really. I wonder how they got confused with each other ? the one where the first Above Ground Christian Church outside of Jerusalem was built circa 47 AD, has to have been the Midlands one imho? 🤔 Best Wishes. I agree, Hastings is a beautiful place, specially old town absolutely amazing. In Maidstone so not far. And on Saturday I went from Woking to Plymouth, by a steam train and we went past Glastonbury both ways we went one way down the coast side and then come back up in land side. What a beautiful place that is too.

It's probably been mentioned before but the trolley you have which is worth it's wait in gold, is also available with big chunky tyres which would make your journeys😊 to and from the boat a lot easier. Oh I love Hastings. Spent lots of my youth travelling down the A21 to the old town and flying kites near the castle. My granddad used to drink in the the olde pump house in the old town!

It was so lovely to meet you yesterday (we met near the gate and talked about handfastings), you are such a lovely couple and so genuine. Glastonbury is one of our special places too, if you go again I can highly recommend Glastonbury Cottages and Camping, it's right at the bottom of the Tor, so we often go up multiple times a day xx

I found Starsky & Hatch on the Google map and Rock-a-Nore Rd. Ula, you're a drummer, too. I'm constantly beating out patterns and rhythms whether I actually have a drum in my hand or not. I gave my bodhran away a few years ago, but still find myself thumping away on boxes, desk tops, etc. and so on. It's been a lovely Sunday visit with you two. Looking forward to next week.
My husband would drive to Hastings and buy a lot of kippers,he had orders from people that drank in his local.he loved kippers I didn’t but I would cook them for him.

Hey Guys, Love Hastings…many a summer day spent playing crazy golf and people watching whilst drinking milkshakes down one of the back lanes. Went as a child to watch the light carnival at Glastonbury a few times and it was a beautiful place, need to visit as an adult! There is so much to love about your video's, I love the simplicity of them, it's just you doing your stuff and just being you. Josh was sort of apologising in the van for not recording the miss-haps when you got back to the boat last time. But I don't think you should feel under pressure to be recording 24/7, you have to have your own space too, and especially when your trying to cope with multiple things happening at once when there's a problem to be fixed) Just to say I have never actually seen a boat like yours, the way it has like a veranda hanging over the front, is there a special name for it?? Is there a plan for doing the paint-work on the outside yet?? Looking forward to the next one! 🙂 Soph

I do have to say, I think the filters on the latest videos are a bit distracting sometimes and can make the footage look overexposed and blurry almost. Your cinematography is so beautiful and I feel like the filters sometimes can be a disservice to the work you guys have put in. I don't see anyone else mentioning it but I wanted to voice it with the most love imaginable. Much much love from the US :)

Watching this made me realise how much I miss the sea. Couldn't decide which I felt like doing the most, swimming in that or go boat fishing. That must have been one hell of a descision to give up hastings by the sea for canals. A choice I would found very difficult (glad you did though otherwise we wouldn't have these vlogs). A free e-bike!!! Dear god. I am so jealous.... Most people have guard dogs. These two have a...log lol. Damn you two are just awesome. Boat purchased yesterday, deposit paid....moving aboard within the month! Still loving your vids, and will be installing the same toilet as yours! Question, do blokes have to sit down to pee, or can we pee standing, with confidence!

Hey Guys, Love Hastings…many a summer day spent playing crazy golf and people watching whilst drinking milkshakes down one of the back lanes. Went as a child to watch the light carnival at Glastonbury a few times and it was a beautiful place, need to visit as an adult! Glad the boat was ok when you got back and you had a good break visiting family and friends. Refreshed and Ready for painting the boat, Are you keeping the painting on the side? Have a blessed week 🙏
There is so much to love about your video's, I love the simplicity of them, it's just you doing your stuff and just being you. Josh was sort of apologising in the van for not recording the miss-haps when you got back to the boat last time. But I don't think you should feel under pressure to be recording 24/7, you have to have your own space too, and especially when your trying to cope with multiple things happening at once when there's a problem to be fixed)
Just to say I have never actually seen a boat like yours, the way it has like a veranda hanging over the front, is there a special name for it??
Is there a plan for doing the paint-work on the outside yet??

I do have to say, I think the filters on the latest videos are a bit distracting sometimes and can make the footage look overexposed and blurry almost. Your cinematography is so beautiful and I feel like the filters sometimes can be a disservice to the work you guys have put in. I don't see anyone else mentioning it but I wanted to voice it with the most love imaginable. Much much love from the US :)

Watching this made me realise how much I miss the sea. Couldn't decide which I felt like doing the most, swimming in that or go boat fishing. That must have been one hell of a descision to give up hastings by the sea for canals. A choice I would found very difficult (glad you did though otherwise we wouldn't have these vlogs). A free e-bike!!! Dear god. I am so jealous.... Most people have guard dogs. These two have a...log lol.
