Beauty in this world is hard to find, but I know it's still out there. Or maybe WE have to find the change within OURSELVES and share it with someone else who needs a smile or an encouragement, or even a free breakfast. It costs nothing to extend a smile or a helping hand to someone in need. But it leaves a lasting impression, believe me. 😉 This was a beautiful song, sung beautifully. Deeply touching. When those brothers embraced, I cried right along with them. I'm sure many others shed tears as well.

My father died at 40 of cancer in 1959. I was 4. He was a man of immense character and integrity. I remember feeling so proud of him bc of how kind he was to everyone. When he was gone our family imploded. My wellbeing was trampled and destroyed. I have had many, many moments when I’ve wanted to give up and end my life. This story makes me think of how sad he would be if I did. I was his little Buggins. He taught me to sing. It became my solace. He didn’t know when he coaxed me to sing You Are My Sunshine, he left me a life raft.
To John n. : Do you know William Boyd or Bill Boyd who was a wonderful actor many yrs ago now, was 12 yrs old when his father died. His father lost his life as a hero trying to save other men in a coal mine accident. He later in the movies, he made, became Hopalong Cassidy who was the hero of those stories in film. He bought the rights to the charactor name for himself and so he became "Hoppy"., And rode his horse Topper in parades long after the movies were made. He loved his father and missed him so much he became the hero his father had been. ❤️
Christmas 2024. This is the most beautiful thing I've ever watched and heard. The courage of both of them is unmatched. The love they have for each other is obvious!! I lost my husband in 2004 unexpectedly. He was 49 me 44. Our boys were 15 an 13. Our daughter 22 and pregnant. It was the hardest thing I've ever suffered and my kids! Oh my they suffered over years. You have made a beautiful family with a beautiful man. May he RIP. I hope you are all well and happy!! ❤❤
The dad “Thanks buddy” what a handsome man, a very proud man, proud of his service, proud of his country, proud of his son and all his family. It breaks my heart that this officer was taken so young. He’s left his family with a tremendous sense of pride.
There are so many heroes among us. I just pushed my manual wheel chair in a 5 Km Army "run" to support our heroes. I am proud to do this. My time? 44 minutes. Not bad for a paraplegic with stage 4 Hepatitis. My father I swear ran along beside me.
***** You should be very proud mom. You raised your boys well. Please thank them for their service from one military family to another. I'll be keeping you and your boys in my prayers. God Bless.

it's wonderful to see a father and son who love each other and embrace- The son has tears in his eyes and doesn't want to let go of his father, but realizes he must-
The boys in my grade's choir sang this song. I knew this was the same one as soon as I saw the title. At some point when we were singing or practicing I definitely teared up, but seeing it being performed in these unfortunate times makes me ten times as emotional. May your father Rest In Peace.
Beautiful song RIP Lt. Col. Weber..... I cried throughout the song. Cancer killed my MOM May 29, 2020. Being able to sing with (The Col.) your dad is priceless. Thank You For Your Service To The Late Great Lt. Col. Weber
This song is incredibly moving. I was taken aback by the emotional impact of the video-it brought tears to my eyes. Col. Weber, may you rest in peace, and thank you for your brave service to our country. My heartfelt wishes go out to his family; may they find comfort and solace every time they watch this touching tribute.
This was difficult to watch because, for me, it seemed like he was saying goodbye to his son and his family. And goodbyes are always hard, especially this kind. It also made me remember when my own father died 35 years ago. I didn't have the chance to say goodbye to him, and that remains as one of my lifelong regrets. I didn't have the chance to tell him how much I loved him, how much I respected him, and how much influence he had on my life, and how much I strived to live my life as well as he lived his.
The family shares unfathomable courage initiated by this wonderful strong man. I hope the family is doing fine, moving forward as their Dad taught them
For the wife and mother of these two incredible men, thank you for " your service" and dedication to and sacrifices for your loved ones and for our country...may God keep His loving arms around you always....pls know you are much appreciated, respected, and loved especially by all of your " sisters- we military wives"
All I can figure.,. if it's not the evil people option... is because there is no sad face option... Or it hits too close to home? Seems minimizing anyway too just give a thumb, when something like this is quite robust with feeling. But if course I'm also a Veteran, but even if it were just a regular father and son... It would still move me.

Much love to you!❤️
Every time the father closed his eyes my heart sank
Jen_Playz_Minecraft mine did too
Can only imagine what’s going through his head!
God bless this man and his family how brave he has been and the sacrifices he has made. This was beautiful! 😥♥️🇱🇷🇱🇷
i can't stop my tears drops ( Crying like baby ) ..... cose i miss my father, my father died when I was 12 years old....
@@laurenetemple-link5660 a heartening story, tku.
He’s left his family with a tremendous sense of pride.
so sad how they broke up at the same time and how you can see what a big man he once was with his uniform so large on him-RIP and thank you
Yes.
There are so many heroes among us. I just pushed my manual wheel chair in a 5 Km Army "run" to support our heroes. I am proud to do this. My time? 44 minutes. Not bad for a paraplegic with stage 4 Hepatitis. My father I swear ran along beside me.
God bless you!
and you as well. Thank-you.

You should be very proud mom. You raised your boys well. Please thank them for their service from one military family to another. I'll be keeping you and your boys in my prayers. God Bless.
I thank you for your run. My grandfather fought in Vietnam and almost died for our country, same with my uncles. Thank you.

Your grandfather and uncles are heroes. They are the reason I race...to support the "soldiering on" program. Every kilometer I go, I do it for them. God bless.
Oh, this broke my heart. 💔 God Bless Them. Beautiful song, beautifully sung. Rest Easy, Sir and Thank you for all that you sacrificed for us. Fly High. Condolences and appreciation to his son and family. 💔
Although this is now 8 yrs old I’m sure the love for this soldier lives on in his family.
What a heartbreaking and beautiful video to watch.
Thank you for your service Lt Col Mark Weber....May you Rest In Eternal Peace🙏🏻
It's 2021 and I'm just seeing this and crying. Thank you for your service Sir. RIP.
You stand guard sir like so many others in Heaven..
R.I.P
My 4-5 times great Grandfather was in the Civil War...I remember my Grandfather singing this song ,R.I.P. SIR ,my family thanks you for your service to America...God bless and forever protect you and your family,
it's wonderful to see a father and son who love each other and embrace- The son has tears in his eyes and doesn't want to let go of his father, but realizes he must-
Old soldiers never die. They just fall back to heaven to regroup.
How very precious...the song was beautifully done by two very strong men. What respect for each other they have.
This is a memory his family will remember for a lifetime. It’s heartbreaking knowing that this wonderful person died in 2013.
Even after so many years that this happened...I salute you for your service. RIP in the arms of our Heavenly FATHER!
Cancer killed my MOM
May 29, 2020.
This is so touching! I lost my dad to cancer in 07, he served in the Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars. R.I.P sir❤
I hope the family is doing fine, moving forward as their Dad taught them
A very heartfelt song , Father and Son , Beautiful 👍🏻🙏🏼🕊😇♥️🇺🇸🕊🙏🏼👍🏻God Bless You all.
For the wife and mother of these two incredible men, thank you for " your service" and dedication to and sacrifices for your loved ones and for our country...may God keep His loving arms around you always....pls know you are much appreciated, respected, and loved especially by all of your " sisters- we military wives"
Can someone, ANYONE explain to me why there would be thumbs down on this video... how does a soul become so hateful. Wow!!
Some very evil people in the world. It's a sad thing. :(
They are dead inside. No worries. Enjoy this beautiful song.....and all that it means & symbolizes. ❤
No appreciation of the service provided by that brave hero to give them a good life in this country! All cruel, heartless Ame. should live in China!
I haven't seen any thumbs down.
Everyone is giving thumbs up for the beautiful song & life of the military man & his family. 🙏💟
Life is so precious dont waste it and stay positive .
R.I.P. Sir thank you for your service. So sad you were dying there. Beautiful that you & your loving son had the strength to sing that touching heart renching song! God bless your whole family. Until you meet again! 😇😭😞😔❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you. This is why God gave us fathers..to teach the children who walk in his footsteps . May God bless all of you, what a blessing.
@@antoniakoreiba6704 yes, Fathers with the integrity to be G-D fearing are a vanishing breed, He has given the most cherished blessing on his family they could ever have.
Wow ,what a tribute to his father, because out of uniform he is still a father who will be missed by his family. Thank you for serving.
May God Bless this courageous and noble man's memory and his courageous family!!!!!
Truly an inspiration. Bless you and the family. I saw Lt. Col Weber passed away in 2013. Rest in peace and thank you for your service.
A brave and courageous man until he finally passed away leaving his beautiful family with memories both bad and good.
May god bless your family and keep them safe and you be safe in the hands of god.
Best wishes from London England

Thank you veterans and those current soldiers and those who will serve this great nation in the future. May God heal and protect and comfort. He is a good Father. God is in control. God bless.
God bless you all, and thank you so,so much for your service for our freedom. You make me so proud to be an American. God bless America!
Two brave men. Rest in peace Sir, you have left your son with a loving memory. God bless.
That was the saddest moment of my life. And I wasn't even there.
Miniarts me too
I have tears every time I watch this, and cannot stop watching it.
Proof real men allow themselves to be vulnerable.
What a wonderful pair of men.
I cant help but cry knowing that both my paternal grandfather (navy) and father served in the military (dad in army and National Guard) and both died of colon cancer. I imagine this father here also singing to his own father and knowing he will meet him again soon in heaven. 🙏🏽❤️
