@@mecpa I use the acronym DEALER. The first three stand for Drawings, Expenses and Assets - they all have “normal debit balances”, meaning to increase an Assets balance, you debit it. Same for expenses and draws/dividends. The LER stand for Liabilities, Equity, and Revenue. These 3 have “normal credit balances”, so to increase them you put them as a credit in the JE. Take a piece of paper or a post it- put DEA on the left going down. Draw a line in the middle and put LER going down the right side. Left side for normal debit balances and right side for normal credit balances.
Obviously CPA exam has been a pain in my ass, but that won't bother me any longer I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr Dylan God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me

Hi, I love your tips, thanks for sharing with the community. I have a question-When you take depreciation recapture in either 1245/ 1250, if in the question they have given you the Tax Depreciation & Book Depreciation Which one to consider?
Hi the question should give you a hint or tell you which to use..For Book depreciation always consider the savage value. For Tax, MACRS is used and you leave out the savage value. If you are taking the TAX CPA Exam, they want the tax depreciation amount.

Good evening, I know Becker Is the most popular option but it’s way too pricey for me. Do u guys know any other materials that are cheaper to use for the CPA exam ? I recently graduated and I’m looking to pass my cpa exam within a year. What are the best resources for the right price ?

i failed 8 times in 10 years :) ,, i used Becker ,, i am thinking to start studying CPA again .but i am thinking to change the review material and use surgent CPA ,, what do you think ?
Hi. I have never used them. If you already bought Becker, I would supplement with free resources like you tube.. i75 has great free videos.

Yes, I will do another video soon. We cannot remember everything- that is true. Just try to learn the concepts and don’t get overwhelmed with all the details.

Practice with a mini hand held. Each prometric center is different but it will be mini or pocket size. Thanks.
