I have a stash of the fragranced version of this toner and I absolutely love it and will continue to use it. I’m clearly not sensitive to fragrance because I’m all about the sensorial in my skincare.

However, in China, it's a different situation. They use it as a hair leave-in conditioner for thicker and healthier hair. I remember watching a documentary where Chinese women were using rice extract to wash their hair. Their hair looked amazingly thick, long and healthy.
This is interesting- I hadn't heard much about rice extracts in haircare- sounds like it might be a winner- going to have to do some reading on it this morning.
I have tried both the first "fragrance" version and this non-fragrance and I have to say that I actually prefer the texture and feel of the first... something about the viscosity really works for me. Most of the time, I do my best to get fragrance-free products because I have sensitive skin. Both do not irritate my skin, so I might just go back to the the first one. I will finish this Free frag/alcohol bottle and make a final decision on which I'll repurchase. Cheers!
I agree!! I haaaate the scent of the original version but I feel like the fragrance-free version isn’t quite as hydrating. Might just be in my head but that’s how I feel 🤷🏻♀️
I love both, but the alcohol and fragrance free is great! Been using this for a couple of years now. I love to layer it with other toners, like the Dr. Ceuracle. It never causes any issues with other products. Thanks for this!
I really need to wait until the video is over before I comment. I have dehydrated/semi-sensitive skin and I haven't had any trouble with this. It may not be super moisturizing, but I really do like it. I use it when I'm using my copper peptides to follow instead of an exfoliating toner. Thanks, I had no idea about the preservative!
Unfortunately this gave me hives along the jawline! But then so did another rice toner, so I just don't try them any more. I used it up on my arms and legs, no problems there. Thanks for the review.

Great review! I bought this awhile ago and haven't opened yet- I will wait until spring! That was my hunch because I don't do well with HA heavy products in the wintertime. Hope it's not too cold there yet!

I quite liked the texture of the I'm From Rice Toner and went through 2 bottles of it, but I stopped using it after realizing that the pH came in a little high, around ~7 pH. I really have been enjoying the Dr. Ceuracle Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence as a similarly textured product and it's at the optimal 5.5 pH as well.

Maybe a new current glowy dewy finish routine video 😍 BTW ( I might be wrong) but I can tell from ur face u lost a little bit of weight. I got the ordinary hair serum the other night and it's exactly like you've described, it's really hydrating to the scalp being nice and gentle at the same time. Hello Beautiful Sarah! This is my all time favorite toner for the summer but yes.. with colder weather ahead my skin needs more.. Cosrx Propolis here I come lol.. So good for my dry, sensitive skin! I’m actually the same way.. I have to use one product with a cotton pad to make sure I’ve gotten all the yucky stuff lol.. great minds think alike! I agree about Beta Glucan too!! The Propolis Essence is wonderful, my current bottle is almost finished up. Then I always want to buy a new bottle because I loved it, but then I think I should try something new so I can review it. Then... I usually end up doing both! 😂😂
Hi Sarah I haven't tried it and really have no desperation to do so. I know the brand is very hyped, but truthfully anything that promotes having a lot of HA is often a pass for me. My skin doesn't do well with a load of HA (rebound dryness) and the INCI list wasn't wowing me for this one. There are so many toners/essences I love that really hydrate and soothe my skin, with better INCI lists. The packaging is very pretty with the ombre bottles or rice shaped containers, but packaging isn't an issue for me (I keep all my skincare in a cupboard to protect it from heat and light). This is their most hyped/well loved product and I just found the INCI a bit blah overall. My severely dry skin with aging concerns wants a bit more from a toner than this provides - either a bucketful of antioxidants or ferments and some peptides or amino acids etc. This isn't that product. It's a pass for me tbh. Now I also know it's more geared to an oilier skin than mine, which reinforces how disinterested I am in it. Best wishes.
I'm so with you on HA- and to be honest, if used incorrectly (and sometimes even if used correctly) during the dry Minnesota winter it can be a difficult ingredient for skin. I would love to see them replace HA with something else- that would make this a "must have!" When will the HA madness end?!?! I'm ready for the next trend...
@@NOBSBeauty Me too it's in everything and I have to use it with extreme caution. A little bit in a moisturiser is fine, but not layers of HA containing products. I can use it a little more in humid weather, but tbh in Scotland that's a very small proportion of the year. I use very occlusive products in my final layers and it still causes dryness for me - my skin just isn't happy with too much of it. Avoiding it completely would be difficult, but making sure it's not in multiple products helps a good bit. It's why I don't use any of the ordinary serums - everything is in a HA base. I too am more than ready for the next trend, but I don't see it going anywhere soon.x
Its seems like they no longer sell the haru haru fragance free toner in yesstyle anymore 😟 i had in my cart couple days ago but now that i checked it says its no longer availabe😟
I listened to a review by Cassandra Bankson raving about this product as in it's fermantation that goes into the black rice process. Anyway, she raved about the ferment process, which is what i'm looking for, but maybe this is not so prevalent and i should stick with my Missha toner. She also mentioned a brand Papa Recipe as excellent, maybe you could do a review of the products.
I've tried a few Papa Recipe products (been meaning to review them because I don't think I have reviewed anything from them yet!). I've found they have some true winners as well as some products I just absolutely hated them- maybe I'll have to do a favorites/least favorites video for them!

I might have forgotten, it is a pretty liquidy consistency, similar to the SK11 Essence - not thick at all, easiest to apply with a cotton pad or lightly patted onto skin.

The only thing that was preventing me from buying this was the fragrance. SO glad they have a fragrance free version!

It is super nice- I haven't had any issues with the EURO-NApre preservatives either thankfully.
