This subway,has a definite New York accent! The third rail is right out of NYCTA,[former BMT/IND],and so is the tunnel signaling,right up to the plating! I agree with this Midosuji line. Unlike Tokyo metro, all subways of the Osaka metro have standard gauge, including direct services to other companies. You can refer to such at Wikipedia :-) Several lines have third rail(s), while others have overhead electricity service.

最近警笛音が減っていて残念だったのです。この和音が好きでホームドアの設置のせいで警笛音が減ったのは寂しいなぁ。
減ってないはずですよ……
ホーム進入時、発車時、見通しの悪いカーブ、鉄橋、トンネル出口入口は"笛"の標識があるので鳴らしてるはずですよ。。
車両によって音量が小さい編成がいるので聞こえない風になってる感じですかね。。
