I grew up in the same neighborhood as Dre…I will say this, Dre was definitely a better athlete than Jerry Rice…In high school Dre played all the skill positions…I went to a game and watched him play QB and throw a TD, he scored at running back, caught a TD split out as a WR. Looked Up His Stats....He Wasn't even in the top 30 of all time WIde Receiver Yards. He sits at spot 50. Jerry Rice was #1 with double his yards. He had a little over 10k yards. Jerry Rice had 22,000 🥴 but Shannon sharp had 200 less yards then Andre and was inducted into the hall of fame. So yea they did do him dirty.

Jerry Ray, stayed disciplined but he came into a winning organization from the start. Remember Montana had won before Jerry got on the team. I think if Andre has been drafted to a better discipline team like the 49ers, it might’ve helped him be more disciplined, and helped his career numbers.

My uncle child hood friend, who was in business with him, was walking through the club with Rison. He spotted up and brought him over and introduced him to us. We were big Dre fans, and I still have the picture at the lake with his jersey on. Dre would be in our hood all the time and his brother.

I think many people love Andre as a person but let's be honest Andre is not and will never be considered a better NFL wide receiver than Jerry Rice. Andre probably played close to 14 seasons in the NFL and went over 1000 yards receiving about 5 times. Jerry Rice played wide receiver in the NFL more than 15 years and had over 1000 yards receiving around 14 times. After this interview with Andre a lot of people will be wondering if anything he said is actually true.

I grew up in the same neighborhood as Dre…I will say this, Dre was definitely a better athlete than Jerry Rice…In high school Dre played all the skill positions…I went to a game and watched him play QB and throw a TD, he scored at running back, caught a TD split out as a WR. He had a punt return TD, almost ran back a kickoff, he had an interception at safety and he was the field goal kicker. Not to mention he was an all state point guard on a team that won back to back state titles. He was also the 100 meter champ! If u out Dre with 2 hall of fame QBs in his prime and play in the greatest offensive system ever created, Dre would be first ballot…his injuries and off field issues are what’s keeping him out…so I can see why he thinks he’s better…he was faster, stronger and quicker than Jerry…Jerry was just way more disciplined!
