I'm very familiar with the Florida scrub Jay. They are a threatened species. They actually put signs all over the state parks that have them to not feed the scrub jays, Because it messes with their nesting. It's quite a controversial issue here
@@Eaglediva Well I'm not sure if they are the same as California scrub jays. No signs in California to not feed scrub jays. I have bird seed in backyard and they come eat it. However my friend that feeds the scrub jays they are so tame they eat peanuts from her hand
@@r0ckstar666@r0ckstar666 Florida scrub jays are very endangered. They are losing their habitat faster than you can imagine. They are very protected here. People still feed them though. They will land on your head. I have to say they are pretty cool birds

I have a friend who feeds a scrub jay peanuts. If you are not familiar with scrub jays they are like blue jays on steroids
