Grandma is correct about gin. You guys must drink it mixed with lime or kalamansi.. and it's good to drink it with some snacks or foor. Like chitcharon or any fried Filipino dish..☺️☺️☺️
My father brought "lambanog" (alcoholic beverage made out of fermented coconut juice, usually locals from the provinces do that) to Macau before and made his Portuguese boss and co-workers drank it, and then the next day they told him that it gave them a bad headache 🤣
I'd say strange since lambanog (and tuba) are strong alcohols that don't give me hangover. Like I can go to work the next day even after binging bottles of it lol. But my Korean bf who knows how to drink swears that he hates it lol
@@candycanenee well it still depends on the person, but if you're used to it I think it will not give you a hangover haha I don't get a hangover with it also.
granma knows her gin, yes that particular gin usually goes with mixes like lime or some fruit juice , otherwise you'll be drinking something like what the other guy said.. a rubbing alcohol
Gin is best mixed with Lemon Juice or Pineapple Juice. Just like a cocktail.
Try mixing it with C2
Or lime and salt
Try to mixed it with grapejuice and coke we called it galaxy
Try Redhorse and Grape Juice with it. We call it Punyeta
I think you need to try Gin + Del monte Pineapple + Del mone tid bits = Pecfect mix
My Tita’s an OFW. She says the locally distributed gin tastes better than the exported ones, and the red horse in-can exported has a stronger kick than the bottles ones distributed locally. That was just in Dubai tho.

Grandma is right, Gin should come with lemon or lime.
We put pineapple. Or pomelo. With the gin or tea
Yeah. We normally mix it with lime juice or any citrus juice. 😊 *don't forge the ice!*
We put C2
