    Plank growing is the best. I use Caitlin’s grow in water method. I put a plastic pot and plank separately in a basket so it looks good but the wood doesn’t rot.
    That’s a beautiful, large leaf healthy cutting. You’ll probably get really big leaves when it takes.
    Thanks Jeff!

    • @EverythingPlants
      @EverythingPlants  2 года назад

      Most likely need to be repotted but I'm okay with this....if you pot up too large to start with then the more soil you have there it retains moisture. I don't want my cuttings to rot, plus pothos tend to prefer a nice snug pot lol. Hope this answers your question.

      You can add a plank or even just leave it outside the pot (leaning against the wall) and just secure the cuttings to the plank. That way you don't have to disturb the plant at all and it should be ready for new growth as spring approaches!

    Hi Jeff. I have a question. I was gifted a Pothos that had several different size leaves. I think they were just potted up together to make one plant. The larger leaves were clearly on a plank at some point. Areal roots are like caterpillar feet. If I propagated and plank the larger leaves with bigger stems will that automatically make bigger leaves or is there more success working with the smaller leaves smaller stems?

    • @EverythingPlants
