Great video. My practicioner also recommended me using baby shampoo instead of normal shampoo on my head because normal shampoo has alcohol/parfume in it most of the time. Works great for me. No fading at all. If you think about it in a long term it makes sense..

Hi, great channel, I’ve recently had my session done and was wondering what type of aftercare I should use if my scalp on some parts is inflamed and dry. My scalp artist has recommended diluting some shampoo with water and lightly washing and also diluting some moisturiser and gently applying to scalp? Any recommendation would be great thank you!
Hello
Any inflammation or dryness will usually subside after a couple of weeks. Just take gentle care as you’ve been advised. I would be more inclined to use a face wash rather than a shampoo tho 👍🏼
Hi what about heavy sweating and strong sun a few weeks or months after the SMP? I like to go into a sauna 2 times per week as well as a solarium. Will this affect the pigments? Im still considering to get a SMP but don’t won’t to waste my money if the color just bleaches too quickly. Would be thankful of a quick reply. Cheers 🙏🏽
Sweating is not a problem, the sun you will need to be careful of !
Hi, quick question about long term aftercare, can you use salicylic acid (BHA) on your scalp after SMP as an exfoliation product, as i use it in my daily skincare routine right now and it really help with removing dead skin cells.
I read that AHA acids like glycolic acid should be avoided, does the same apply to salicylic acid?

Once your SMP is done correctly it doesn’t get affected by too much but we always like to err on the side of caution…
I’d prefer if clients used gentle products on their scalps…

So it's safe to wear a hat or skullcap but what about headwraps like a durag specifically? A day after treatment, can I wear that?

Seems to be different advice for different practitioner's of smp a was told no sun,no getting head wet,no sweating,no moisturising no headgear for 4 days🤷🏻♂️
A seen videos off people who had it walking about in the sun with no hat on a day after treatment.
Yes some are more cautious than others. Generally most would say protect from the sun to stop the SMP fading to quickly.
What about mild sweating due to humidity in day 1 post care. Will that impact the result?
Should be fine to be honest, just dab dry with a clean paper towel.

After 10 days yes that’s fine no problems.

Hi there, just a couple of questions...will wearing a swimming cap (due to it's tightness) have negative affects on SMP, also I do yoga and am wondering if doing head stands is okay?.... and you probably are asked this a lot, but how long after SMP for swimming in the sea is recommended , getting a whole lot of different time spans for this ranging from one week to 30 days...Thanks
Once your SMP is fully healed any activity is fine.
Swimming is a different concern because of the chemicals. We often advise 3/4 weeks to be on the safe side but I really believe after 1 week to 10 days you would be absolutely fine.

Hey mate will long term, daily use of minoxidil contribute to any fading due to its alcohol contents?
If your procedure is done right it will not be affected.

I've just had mine done on monday and I leave for Cyprus this Sunday, the chances are I will end up in the pool is there anything I can use to protect it?
Yes please try to avoid the water contact on your scalp or you may have a green tinge from the chlorine….

You mentioned cutting hair after day 5? Does that mean on day 5? Also can we use a razor to cut hair on this day?
Yes it’s an approximate.
You can razor cut but I’d suggest to just be gentle as the skin is still healing 👍🏼
I am considering this procedure. I didn't get the swimming point... Can i swim after it's fully healed, say after 8 weeks? Also, would wearing a swimming cap prolong the longevity of the scalp pigmentation?
Yes after it’s fully healed swimming is fine and will not affect your SMP .

Hello thanks for info but what if your dandruff that you've maintained away comes back after smp? Is it safe to use Selsun Blue dandruff shampoo if your smp is healed ?
Once healed yes you’re fine 👍🏼

My smp artist told me to rinse the same night and gave me a special natural soap the next days following... I need help

Also I do freestyle wrestling 2-3 x a week and it’s a very hands on sport. Would it effect it in any way from all the contact? I plan on going back next month
its says dont use alcohol based lotions, how is a person supposed to moisture if every single lotion contain cetyl alcohol? what can you use for smp then?

One thing about SMP I haven't seen anyone address yet: should you clean the ink off your scalp right after you finish your session? should you clean it a few hours after your session?
or should you just leave the ink on your scalp and completely avoid touching it for 4 days?

*In my case my SMP artist advised me to take the 2nd option and use a moist wipe to gently clean the ink off my scalp a few hours after the treatmet
Straight after your sessions your scalp Artist should clean all the excess ink off.
@@creativescalps5962 So if this gentlemen would have taken the 1st option and left the ink on and didn't do any thing for 4 days he should be shampooing his head right on that day Reason why I'm asking is after my procedure my artist didn't use a wet whipe after so at day 4 you can see darker areas than other's

I want ask if smp look fake with noorwood 7?
If it’s done right it will look amazing, I prefer to keep the SMP fading out before we reach the ears to keep a Norwood 7 looking realistic 👍🏼

@@hesham272002 he means rather than tattoo the SMP down to the ears they'll fade it, so it will look like the customer shaved their hair before it reached their ears
What if the ink will not stay. I know I put it in deep enough, then I don't wash my hair and keep my scalp dry for 4 days, but as soon once I shower a few times after "the healing period"(even though I don't get much scabbing at all), the ink just washes/flakes off...and the whole process ends up being a waste of time😟. Trying it on myself before clients.
You are getting your technique wrong..
@Creative Scalps I tougjt it was normal after first session to see ink in the shower since it fades away quite a bit after first session. That's whY they so 3 or sometimes 4 sessions?
Also is it ok to apply baby shampoo and mosturized head 5 days after?? Can I go back to jujitsu and crossfit??

We usually leave rinsing for a few days.

I did the scalp micropigmentation 5days ago.and im using the coconut cream to rub gently on my scalp twice a day.i took the 1st shower in the 5th day.using just a cup not the shower head..and when im finish and wipe my head gently i saw my some scalp flaky and i saw saw some peeling park and the color is start loosing.it makes me depressed.i dont know if this is normal..help me for this
Yes this is fairly normal to see some flaking of the skin and loss of pigment color.
I’m guessing you’ve only had your first session? Trust the process and you will see great results if you have chosen a good Artist 👍🏻
@@creativescalps5962 thank you.i have my 2nd session last week..and im having my 3rd session this week.and same scenario.my hairline color is fading.i dont want to scratch my scalp.while taking a little shower.after i took a bath after 4days.i saw some dundruffs turn to soft white tissue.and some part of my hairline has something that getting to peel(dry dundruff turn to soft because of the water).when i removed it the color about to lose.thats why if im gonna scratch my whole scalp.and take all the soft white tissue the whole.color will disappear.i will see if the 3rd session works.if not what will i do...and ive heard after 3rd session they will charge and dont want to pay again.and its not my fault.can i demand the technician to restore until im satisfy.i pay so much for this..
If they are making good impressions with a good technique then it should not fade or flake off as it heals. Obviously everyone is different and it’s hard for me to comment from not seeing you or your Artist.
I will say that if ever any client of ours was to have any issues we would do everything possible to make it right for them at no extra cost. Clients happiness is the most important thing. I really hope you get some good results.
@Creative Scalps is it better to shave head for the procedure or can scalp micropigmantation be done with some hair on??
I keep my hair around 1/4 long and it's very very thin so this artist told me i did not need to cut it down?? He said he could add density
What kind of moisturizer?
Any moisturiser is good. Coconut oil is very good.

@@creativescalps5962 I’m probably about a Norwood 2 and I’d still like to keep what I got. I keep my hair at a grade one year round, so it just building the hairline density.
