Love that you don't use filters! Just discovered you and I'm so happy to see what foundation looks like without filters/touch ups. Whenever I put foundation on I feel like I'm doing it wrong or not using the right one because of how it ends up looking on my skin, how come I can't get it yo look like other women, etc. But I have to remind myself and use your videos to show that that is just how foundation is on skin it won't be perfect 💜 thank you love!

It’s not thick at all, she applied one whole pump to one area.. I’ve noticed that shes heavy handed and tends to apply excessive amounts of her makeup. This stuff is lightweight and feels like skin it just dries quickly, so application is key.
It’s the furthest from heavy.. you can’t even feel it on your skin honestly.. she applied with her finger and didn’t blend it out, I honestly don’t think this is a good representation of this foundation because I have dry acne prone skin and some lines and it literally does everything it says it’s supposed to do. $40 is a standard price for a foundation nowadays too. You should go in and get matched to see for yourself.
I've seen other people using a half of a pump. If she used all of what she showed, she used 2 pumps. There's a ton of things that could make a difference.
You know the makeup at Walmart that I get that I have to get I have tried every product the foundation there even the makeup that said that last for 24 hours and it separates before 8 hours but that looks really good on you I wish I had your skin. I'm so glad that you do these videos and things like that because I'm so out of like touch on the new stuff on maybe what we would be great for my skin and what to try and whatnot to try I always love that about people on their honesty about that.

I’m weirdly okay if I look like I’m wearing makeup as long as I don’t look like a I have too much or like a went full on glam . Sometimes it’s okay to look like your wearing makeup. Personally I paint and draw so to me whrn I wear makeup it’s like okay I’m decorating myself for the day.

I think most people are just more focused on the actual makeup products and not the person behind it. The only brand that I’ve seen get cancelled to a huge degree is Jeffree Star Cosmetics, but they still have a solid fan base.
Years ago when Kat was involved i remember the shade and light contour palette was a big hit but since then i hardly ever hear anyone talk about them (that i follow) other than when that first foundation went viral.
Tbh it may be that youre used to seeing foundation reviews from influencers that use filters, which will always look "better". If you get reviews from ig or tiktok those are almost always filtered and the low video quality diffuses the skin. She admitted that its not a natural finish, it looks like makeup.

@@cristalgonzalez6429 nah I’ve seen other foundation reviews even from Morgan and she was on point in describing it as “pretty good” and that’s it, I’ve seen Morgan review full-coverage foundations that she gave better reviews bc they looked more natural and didn’t break up towards the end of wear-time like this one did. I don’t have nearly as many foundations as she does and even I own a full-coverage foundation that looks more natural than this and doesn’t break up like that at the end of the day
@@cristalgonzalez6429 it just didn’t look good. It’s not about watching reviews, I wear foundation in real life and if it looked like that on me I would not be pleased. I use other foundations that look much better and don’t look as cakey or drying as this one did. It also seemed to enhance her lines, which she barely has! Again, a foundation should not do that. I have foundations that do that and didn’t like them. I’ve had foundations that held up and those are the better ones.
Im kinda surprised she uses yellow undertone foundation… I swear her face seems to have more pink undertones than yellow. Maybe it’s just the video or something. Still trying to understand all that stuff lol
I don't necessarily think this is geared toward oily skin it's just her suggestions to make it look better. Anytime you have dry skin and you try to wear a full coverage Foundation you're really going to have to make sure your skin is very moisturized first or the dry patches are going to show up. She knows that so that's why she includes the information about who she recommends it for what type of skin they have whenever she does her reviews
I think the good apple balm foundation would be way better suited for dry skin, I have combo skin and tried it once and girl it was ATROCIOUS on my oily t-zone within like an hour, grease city

Add some water in foundation to make it thin and then apply. You will get better result

@Stardarling no, it's not a velour puff. Those are only used for powder and wouldn't really work with foundation. It's very clearly a sponge.
