Have a look at some other shows she's done. Gia has such a bright, feel good personality. The fact that she was so empathetic towards LaGanja says a lot
She stole the SHIT out of this episode. I've never seen anybody do that before on the show.... And I don't know if Jonny didn't know when to jump or if he was just totally hypnotized by her story because he was a noddin and a uh huh-in' left and right. Such a good episode!
this episode is fucking spiritual. thanks Johnny and Lady Red for creating the platform for queer representation that is hey qween! and thank you to Ms. Gia Gunn for being so excruciatingly honest. loves it!
It's feels so good to see someone live their truth. Before she had such a tough exterior. She looked happy, played the part but when she threw shade...you can tell it came from a place of hurt. There was a little bite to it that went beyond jokes. Now it makes sense and she's really humbled herself. You can really tell she's grown. It's beautiful to see her find her true self. I hope she finds peace within herself. Everyone deserves happiness.
The BEST and most memorable Hey Queen interview to date! I've always loved you Gia and now I love you even more. The world's a better place because you're a part of it. Oh my gosh Gia, you're awesome.
Johnny probably had more question for Gia, but he was so professional and caring about Gia's breakdown that the interview couldn't get any better. Well done!
She's one of the most kindest souls out there I met her in person and got to Kiki with his she's such a doll and miss lady red be giving me green fire today guuur
What a powerful and moving interview. Exploring our identities is a difficult and wonderful, sometimes scary, and always beautiful journey that extends throughout a lifetime. It's a privilege to see Gia discuss her process with Jonny, exploring the complexities of gender identity in contemporary queer culture. Gia, if you ever read this - I wish you much love and all good things, as you embark on this exciting new chapter in your life.
Never in a million years expected this sort of interview with Gia. Wow, real depth and sincerity there. Sounds like she went through a rough time but it was probably best for her to turn her around and let it shape her into a better person.
Feel like I'm the only one who liked Gia on RPDR, she was def one of my favorites on season 6. But I love her even more after seeing this. She's very well spoken and articulate! So much love for Gia ❤️❤️❤️
I met Gia New Years Eve in Chicago 2016. She was fucking amazing. Sweet, kind and as lovely as you could imagine. I wish her success and happiness in all she does. You are fierce honey! xoxo
I am a heterosexual woman and I want to thank Jonny for this show and Gia for this episode. I view all of these Qweens as my "drag mom in my head" (love Wendy for that! lol). Gia, as all the others, have reminded me that I was beautifully and wonderfully made to be who I am and no one else!! This show is doing for me what others haven't up to now and i'm grateful for what people are sharing. We all have a journey and it is ok to take our time, the way we want, to figure it out. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger and more beautiful. Thank you Hey Qween!!!
I love how this show has shined new light and shown all the sides of the queens we all know, and may or may not love. So much love for her and her growth
I always saw Gia as a hilarious, sound bite machine. This episode really highlighted a beautiful, vulnerable, and wise part of her person ability that I really appreciated. Thank you Gia for sharing your story, I'm rooting for you!!
I'm glad this side of Gia is being shown. She is known for her attitude because it's good TV and entertaining, but my ex knew her for many years here in Chicago and told me from the beginning that she's very smart and not really like she is depicted on the show. You can tell she makes the choice to be the character sometimes, and you can see when she dials it back..like there are moments you can tell she knows she's going too far and trying to do damage control lol
I admire her so much for having the power to show up with this silly spoiled adorable Gia Gunn while she is actually so smart and articulate. Everyone wants to look so smart and original, but she takes her performing skills to a whole new level (kabuki training must have played quite a role in that).

Best interview on HQ ever. Loving Gia Gunn more now than ever! So open and real!
This episode I especially related to Gia! I usually come across as someone who's ungrateful but there's nothing more that i appreciate in life than the few who support me . One of the best episodes💗
BITCH! BEST EPISODE EVER! Thank you Gia for being so open and honest and for having the courage to speak about what's really going on in your life. Your visibility gives other awareness of the reality we gender non conformists face in life. Continue to feel YOUR OATS! #gendernonconformity #transgender #girlslikeus
Mannn I came here expecting to get pissed and Gia is??? Super endearing and has grown a lot and I love that she engaged the lap dance lmao. Also Wonder Twins are #Winning
I love Ms Gia and it's so smart to know she knows that you have to live in the real along with the drag and reevaluate things and know who benefit from making you breath and better in life I NEED YOU MS GIA❤❤
Gia i love you!!!!! gracias por compartir tu historia, escucharte ha sido muy agradable y saber que tenes contención es maravilloso! thank you Jhony for this interview! i love u 2 😘
After hearing her talking about her great lifestyle, family, amazing friends and life, for a long time... I only thought in Bianca. "I was raised by wolves bitch and I'm still surviving and my shit together..."
people who are sheltered genuinely struggle in the real world, and it's hard to feel sympathetic to that if you've experienced the shit that happens when people aren't protected.
+jakeismyhero Exactly. It's kind of like, how can you have issues when people took measures as responsible adults for you growing up, and they worked in good areas that would ensure your health. HOWEVER, the grass is always greener on the other side. In this video we see that she never got to really look inside. Perhaps she always felt like she was on a ride and she never had time to breathe.
I just realized Gia is very likeable and sensible person.
+arianebarat just now? jeez. the show was just that. a show. edited.
Have a look at some other shows she's done. Gia has such a bright, feel good personality.
The fact that she was so empathetic towards LaGanja says a lot
yeah right ;)
She stole the SHIT out of this episode. I've never seen anybody do that before on the show.... And I don't know if Jonny didn't know when to jump or if he was just totally hypnotized by her story because he was a noddin and a uh huh-in' left and right. Such a good episode!

RPDR gave me the wrong impression of Gia . I respect her so much more after watching this. She is genuine and intelligent
When Gia started getting emotional I teared up...damn 😭
+FridayFan123 Yeah, didnt see that coming. Shes such a sweetheart.
Well done!
This is probably one of the deepest episode of your show, and really shows Gia in a new light, very beautiful.
I always enjoyed Gia the boom boom Gun and i don't believe she got a bad edit I just believe she is very misunderstood. I always seen her good heart
+FamousPeople212 I think she has a bit of a drag character mixed with a bit of the real person behind Gia.
I love her deeply seriously she's such a sweetheart, the fish has a heart
I knew I liked her for a reason. This was a good thing to see.
love seeing this honest genuine side of Gia
+andressxpress I think she was always like that, its just that people forget there is more than the on stage character of these people.
Yay! Gia will look like Princessjoules twin as she transitions further.
She's one of the most kindest souls out there I met her in person and got to Kiki with his she's such a doll and miss lady red be giving me green fire today guuur
Omg I just wanna give her a hug!

Jonny that was a great interview! You did a great job of drawing out the person that is Gia!
+Flight Attendant Raven Rizos Hi Raven! Hey Qween!!
I love that Johnny is giving her the space to tell this story, because I love to hear about it and it might be helpful for a lot of people.
Never in a million years expected this sort of interview with Gia. Wow, real depth and sincerity there. Sounds like she went through a rough time but it was probably best for her to turn her around and let it shape her into a better person.
Once again, Johnny pulls out another gr8 interview from one of the more mysterious qweenz from RDR season 6. Loved it. Love Gia. Want. More. Gia.
Feel like I'm the only one who liked Gia on RPDR, she was def one of my favorites on season 6. But I love her even more after seeing this. She's very well spoken and articulate! So much love for Gia ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my heart! I love you, Gia. I started sobbing at about 18 minutes. You are so beautiful and amazing! It was so great to see you on here!
I'm glad this side of Gia is being shown.
