Agreed. I just sold my Speedy 35 kislux (I did keep the brown one), my Sofia Coppola perforated LV clutch, my blue Damier clutch I bought in Japan, and the By the Pool vanilla clutch. Kept an orange epi Alma. It feels great!!
Thank you! I was actually thinking of doing a version with a longer handle. What you could do is make a strap around 13 inches or so and tuck each end of the strap into that top hole left by each of the existing strap ends, fold the existing hole down neatly and sew across. Does that make sense?
@TheLispySewer makes perfect sense. I've made one similar for my Mum, but just love the shape of this one, and the fabric is devine. But of course out of stock at our local. Wish I could put a photo of Mum's up, but no idea how or if you even can. Thanks heaps for replying. Would love to see a tutorial, very visual lady here lol
Thank you! It’s a Teflon foot so great for sewing over vinyl and leather and the actual name of it (I think!) is a right edge two line presser foot. Though I have seen them called a flat-car foot (I have no idea why) as well.
It’s called ‘That Purple Thang’ no spelling mistake there either. They’re on Amazon and Temu. So handy, it’s really worthwhile getting used to sewing with one.
This bag is absolutely stunning!!!! Love the shape and the design of the bag.
Thank you! I’m going to whip up a few more and use them as hampers for Christmas presents.
Thanks for the angled stitch tip. I will be trying that. Love the bag.
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it.
Love the bag and love how you go through explaining everything! Thank you so much I might even be able to make this !
Thank you! I really appreciate that, I’m sure you can do it, if you get stuck anywhere let me know and I’ll try to walk you through it.
@TheLispySewer thank you so much!
Welcome! Let me know how you go.
Another great tutorial I think I will give this one a go as my first ever Bag making experience xx
It would be a good one to start off with! Let me know how you go.

Lovely!!!
Adding an overlay is easier for new sewers.
An overlay? Like overlay zipper face you mean?
Love it
Thanks!
Love you teaching style, clear and precise. Stunning bag, is it possible to do a longer handle?
Thank you!

Love your content. Can I ask what the name of the attachment you have on your machine that advances the stitches each time you touch it?
Thank you!
It’s just a one stitch button that the machine comes with. It’s very handy! The machine is a Singer Industrial 141G.
Great video, thanks. What is the name of the foot you used when you attatched the pockets?
Thank you!

I love this bag and intend giving it a go on my little domestic brother.
What do you call that plastic tool you use?
It’s called ‘That Purple Thang’ no spelling mistake there either.

Also, are you Cathy or Kathy with a C or K?
lol! The most asked question of a Cathy’s life! 😜 C
@@TheLispySewer my sister is Kathy 😂😊
