This game has been on my radar for a while now. It looks incredibly cool and any fan of Bloodborne should find the style and setting quite appealing. Considering I just released another Bloodborne inspired album recently and were all sort of hyped up about a possible sequel in the future, I felt like doing a remix of this game's theme song was something I really wanted to do. If you don't know anything about this game then I always tell people to imagine a cross between Bloodborne, PUBG and Evolve as a multiplayer game that looks really damn good, that pretty much sells it. There's a closed alpha to sign up for this month so give it a try if you can get in!

Hey guys! First release of the new year and most of you probably won't know what it is, but it's a game that isnt out yet and one I'm pretty excited for. As fans of Bloodborne it should look pretty cool to a lot of you. This was fun to warm up and get back into writing after Christmas, I recorded a bunch of the percussion noises and did the humming myself. I'm going to be pretty busy working on The Iron Oath for the start of this year so I have no idea when I'll get round to releasing anything else. Also big big thanks to everyone that supported Rite of Blood! I loved making it and I'm glad I can still make albums like that from time to time, I wouldn't be able to without your support. Thanks again everyone and I hope you all had a good start to the new year.

just took a look at this game and it feels like, bloodborne, resident evil 7 and van hellsing all mixed into one glorious mix. "It's either hunt...or be hunted."

@@DeRanter it happened to me. Me and a teamate in duos killed the spider boss and like 3 teams showed up. By the time all the gun smoke cleared it was hard to remember what we were there for, after we got the bounty on our way to escape we got into it with hunters trying to camp out the escape boat. Well we killed their asses but barely. We get on the boat and blam. My teamate was downed. Head almost shot off from what I’m assuming a rifle with a scope. Hell I don’t know It just happened out of nowhere. Next thing you know blam. I’m dead to. Yep. Some hunters showed up and killed us. I was pretty pissed. After that match I turned my game off for a bit. Makes me wonder if those fellas had any kills besides us. That match made me realize hunt is no forgiving game. A humbling experience per’ say.. never got a chance to play with my teamate either after that. He was a random. And let me tell you he was the kinda gunslinger you’d want on top of a building watching you. Wish I had added him. He wasn’t much good up close with players but that’s where I excelled at. I’m not much good at the long ranges fight and that’s what he excelled at. I don’t remember the mans gamertag but respect to the guy who stuck it through with me.
Enemy hunters in the building: "There's no way he pushes in the building with just a chain pistol! We have shotguns!"
Two teammates standing outside with avtomats: "Your shelter shall become your tomb."
Man, what a masterpiece. THIS SHOULD BE IN THE GAME.
Revive this, the game is expanding exponentially.

Great idea to bring in the lowest hard hitting brass instrument you could find for the second half. This remix actually inspired me to make a piano cover of this piece, thanks Roe. Amazing job, by the way.
I am on youtube literally EVERY DAY since 6 month to listen to Rise Up Dead Man. How is it the first time I ever found this remix? It's epic! I can figure out every exhausted (but noneless badass) hunters leaving slowly the area with their rifle on their shoulder. Got goosebump now.

This piece gives me a sense of power as the hunter. I know my inevitable fate is to die broken and alone, violently clawing at my fading life as the awaiting darkness claims my soul. But until then I am the predator, the one the beasts I hunt should fear, the one who will take their head as well as the bounty....and that's only if I don't cross a hunter with sharper fangs. Ironically I feel more worry and concern for the knife in my back from my fellow man then I do for the evils that stalk the lands I hunt in. It's times like these a dear friend is needed, whether it be a fellow hunter or the weapon you clutch to your person so tightly.

you know what the original and this song says to me. it says that in the game, you will face unspeakable horrors, freakish monsters and ugly creatures that wish for nothing more than the destruction of the world, but their is one thing that is more scary and more deadlier than any of them, something that would stare down death itself in the face and not move an inch, something that is more terrifying than anything this world has ever seen, that something.............is you. a dead man walking, so rise up dead man, its time to go hunting.

From what we know about the Louisiana incident their are at least for groups prowling the Bayou killing demon spawn and each other it'd be nice to have the main theme mixed for each. we are at two currently
One- the American Hunter Association- the original theme
Two- the holy order of Saint Hubertus- this theme
Three- Various creole Voodoo practitioners
Four- Some Sect of Muslim assassin (I shit you not theirs a not letter about their initial arrive in the book on the Louisiana incident)
This feels Very much like the kind of music I'd associate with a holy order, strong sweeping orchestral beets mixed with Gregorian like chanting. It fits the theme of Questing Knights very well.

Oh wow, this only just recently got put on OCRemix, was that because the submission process took that long or did you wait until now to submit it?
I did submit it about 2 years ago, it was judged about 9 months later and then I expected it to be posted a couple of months after that. But I assumed it fell through the cracks and I didn't bother pursuing it. But yeah waiting for your remix to be judged seems to take 6-12 months and then if accepted will be posted in an unknown time after that.

Yeah I feel more recently they've been slowing down music releases. They used to be my main source of music, I'd get tons of it from just them and be happy. But now they seem to rarely post songs unless it's from an album, and there's not many of those lately either. I've had to follow the artists themselves on youtube to get my fix (such as yourself). I wonder if the artists have just naturally drifted away to do their own things, and no one has filled the gap? Perhaps there are plenty of songs given to them, but whoever posts them is slacking (surely it's not just DJPretzel by himself?). I'm sure it'll be fine, and I've managed to find more music from other sources.
BTW, when I finally manage to be a big movie producer, I'm definitely hiring you for some projects. And I'm not taking "no" for an answer! Haha, you have a good week! Thanks!
