I went from strictly sublimation and DTF to laser engraving recently. It really ups your game and the laser I have is so easy to learn with excellent customer service to help me along the way. I would highly recommend stepping out to laser engraving!
THIS!! This is the type of videos I LOVE! Dylan is giving us more ideas, but with the information, a tutorial show us how they are doing it!! And Dylan’s own experiences. An EXTREMELY different and unique one with so much needed value!! These videos help us learn with actual options…and better decide if we are in the right place or category (homemade, POD, digital) and it will help us take that chance or add to or pivot instead of giving up!! And then if we can afford it or save up join Dylan’s program for support especially when like me…nobody to discuss this online business model with. The YT channel is one of the greatest ones especially for homemade and some POD (and you’ve been adding more informative content for POD now-ty). I watch EVERY video as soon as I can! Right now I am not able to join the program- I am a single mom doing ALL the things as many are, so unfortunately I am not able to right now. However, I am blessed for the YT channel and recently I have been praying and discussing the option of homemade engraving ,so I can be more hands on and have more decision making abilities. I’m not a digital person and even in POD you need to be able to be somewhat knowledgeable in technical aspects to figure the program out, but you have to be extremely creative to stand out and make A LOT of designs especially in clothing which is a low ticket item -that requires A LOT more sales and creative designs. I am an anxious person as for myself I went from SO motivated to feeling mentally drained, exhausted and defeated. I have other obligations and chose my mental health and I let my shop go bc it was stressing me out so badly and got hit with multiple unexpected personal issues that I alone carried the weight of. But I was and I am the problem-not Etsy or tools-it’s my worrying if the design was good enough and I could not just start and try (practice is the only way) the way you have to. I did not trust myself and have nobody for support bc nobody that I know does this online type of work. So I’m so excited for this series!! This is so timely for me. I've been excited to use my laser to launch a business but struggled with what to produce that would scale given a part-time business model. The products I enjoy making the most are way too time-consuming to scale on etsy given I can only produce 4-6 of these a month. Even if they could go for $200 each, it really isn't worth the time for that low volume and return. This had me thinking of POD for its ability to scale but maybe I'll take another look at the possibilities here. The key is identifying the unique offering. Looking forward to the remaining videos in this series.
@@dylanjahraus I have not. I feel a bit embarrassed to admit that I hadn't even used Etsy, even personally, until a few months ago. I didn't want to launch a store without a cohesive look and product (set). I feel like I have more work to do to get this figured out.
