Whenever I search "*Insert Game* Optimization Settings," deep down I always hope I see my favourite French Canadian Kephren and am so glad there's one for Starfield :D
Thank you so much man! This video really helped. I wish bethesda had worked on their performance a bit more. Because on a 3060ti and after doing all the steps in the vid, I still can't get a fixed 60 fps and it's constantly jumping down to 35-50. Applying the settings you showed really helped though, because before, it was always under 30. Thanks
Just turn on fsr, it doesn't look the best but it's not bad either, I have mine all the way down and I get 80-100 fps on the same card, I'll take high fps and mid graphics over slightly better graphics with dog shit fps

What is really annoying is I want to cap my FPS to 60 but I have 120hz monitors. So instead of having a cap IN GAME I instead have to lower my refresh rate on my monitors. Having FPS locked to refresh rate as your only option is bad design.
Why would you cap your fps to 60 with a 120hz monitor? A more "cinematic experience" or "consistent experience" is marketing horseshit that is fed to the masses and not an actual improvement to the experience. More fps is an improvement to the experience.
Why would you activate rsr in the amd software, when you don't like fsr in games? rsr is basically fsr for games that don't support it, that's at least what the description says...
so if my monitor is 165hz but in game I dont get 165 or more FPS should I put Gsync On ?
I did all this (NVIDIA 2060 Super) and it worked great for walking in a straight line and ship combat, but the moment I look around on a planet my fps TANKS. Do you know of a fix for that, or is my pc just not liking the game?
2060 super over here... samesies... Graphics are great on ultra settings, but if I start looking around FPS just drops. Taking motion blur off seems to greatly help with this, but it runs so poorly at times on this thing...
@@melandor0 this was the problem for me. The game literally requires an SSD. I thought I had installed it on the SSD, but the Xbox app installed it on my storage drive. Moved it over and it runs like a charm. Do not try and play on a non solid state drive. It will not run.

It's still stuttering every time I turn and I have set everything to low basically, i just can't enjoy this game in this state.
I have a 3070 rtx.
thanks, helped a lot. greetings from germany!
Thank you sir, helped a bunch! I'm on an older laptop but getting steady 40fps which is great for me
Great to hear!

Nice tutorial, thank you! Another thing to consider is the DLSS mod and the optimization mod on Nexus Mods.
did you try to put this mod using an AMD Video Card? I also tried but the game doesn't launch
@@hakelon if you mean the dlss mod, thats not available on amd
Bro you just fixed gsync for me merci boss (d'un québecois à un autre je te salue!)
Still waiting to see that 144 fps.
What is your GPU ?

Unless you have a 4090 1080p youre not getting 144fps@@jackalexander6815

@denambren i personally go unlocked but some people cap it for frame time consistency.
You can cap your fps to a specific game in your gpu's drivers
Bro I went from 1 fps to 100 fps! Thanks!
Thanks brother
Thank you sooooo much!!! ❤

I have 10th gen I7 with GTX 270 Super in my laptop, but it is hardly playable. :D Afaik I already changed everything I can.

Merci bien, mec!
Play at native...... doesn't support 4k ultrawide.....
If you use fsr in game can you use fsr in adrenaline ?
Intel Arc series?
with all these settinsg im only getting like 25fps on my laptop, Gtx 1650, 32gb ram, 11th gen i5
Well you're using a gtx 1650💀
Cant expect to get much more fps with such an outdated gpu.
so, he don't use FSR why he is a nvidia fanboy and want dlss
Because dlss is a lot better than fsr.
Doesn't help

Probably a mod will come soon.
AMD is garbage in comparison to Nvidia...
Yeah try to justify that price to the red team just for a 10% performance increase
have u seen FSR3?, same shit as dlss3 but EVERYONE CAN USE IT!! even Intel users! :), AMD FOR THE WIN!!!!!
