Fantastic video Miguel and I really enjoy the effects you have made on this Zaku kit. I have some of these products from you now - thank you very much!! - and I will also try something similar on a new Gundam and Gunpla kit. Thank you again and all the best my friend!! Lincoln Wright
hello, nice toturial, but here i have questions, before we withdraw the brushes with water, need waiting the surface dry or not.. or we can strike after apply the effect..tq
I'm a little confused over the order of events because I don't know what A.Mig-20?? means etc. -is one of them a chipping fluid ? I think I would appreciate and understand more if you said what the colour of a given A.Mig-???? is instead of just the numbers. An event order summary of the technique would be handy too :) ie. Base coat with previous effects from the last episode and then we do .... New colour ?? Chipping Fluid ?? Enamel coat ?? brush away excess ??
so I'm thinking the kamiki burning Gundam is going to be the last high grade I get for a while because of the size I like the Master Grade size butt the cost
Can you message me? I want to learn how to airbrush, because after watching your videos I learned so much and it makes the models look soooo good when done correctly. I was hoping you could email/message me a starter kit, basically. Like an airbrush to get, and several MUST HAVE starter colors as well as a brand. I do want to apply many of the effects you do too, but I don't expect you to go writing out a huge grocery list for paints and what not. Still, it will really help me to have a set of things recommended to buy. Please and thank you!
You can use the odourless thinner for enamel paint of Ammo. Thank you very much for watching our videos, to keep abreast of all news follow us on Facebook and subscribe to the news letter by signing in our online store. Facebook: facebook.com/MigJimenez/?fref=tsOnline Store: www.migjimenez.com/
More than likely (using an air brush, which I don't have any experience with yet) he did a primer coat of a darker color and topped it with a metallic paint. Possible a Dark Chrome or some sort of Dark Silver. That or he dry brushed the metallic paint on, which is what I would have done to achieve that.
Tha hangars? The mechanics? The oil of the joints? The pieces are manufactured somewhere right? And even sometimes are stored months until they are used. In the heat of war there is no time to clean / re-paint the pieces. I dont know, just use your imagination. Its all about fun.
I never knew you could airbrush the nature effects from mig wow that looks stunning
very nice, I just got these products yesterday, and I am looking forward to trying them

very nice video... it is nice to see after a time how we can use different materials to show a nice effect on a model.
thanks for the great video, Miguel. Now I know how to weather and "dirty" my Bandai 1/100 MG Zaku "White Ogre". Gonna use your methods and products.

Hello. Do you recommend using this technique before or after applying a filter?

if you dont have any airbrush.your doomed. i tried this kind of effect by using paintbrush. kinda hard compared to just using an airbrush.
chiffon fairchild I do the chipping without using any airbrush. But for that kind, is it hard to achieve the desidered effect?
I accidentally did that with while trying to do a dried blood effect
What grade is this
Looked to be a PG
T. S. Know how he got the power cables that color?

where did a space type zaku get its dirt from 😂😂😂
LOL exactly =p

I think this Zaku's scheme is based on the "MS IGLOO" CGI shorts, ep. 2. The Zakus there are Earth-based, hence the dirt and grime.
Crashing through space debris??
Awesome * O * :D!
