The Go-Gos were a very underrated band! The first all-female band to write their own material and play their own instruments to have a #1 album on the Billboard charts. So awesome :)
Hard to believe this song started with Charlotte bringing the opening piano riff to the group and they built a song around it! Nice job reviewing one of my favorite GoGo tunes, Nina. Thanks!
The drummer Gina grew up in the same neighborhood as I did so that was always something to brag about! They were such a fun & talented band, and you can never ever ever be in a bad mood hearing this song or watching this video!! If you are, you got issues and there are not enough tissues for you! Great reaction, Nina!!!!!
My favorite part of this video was the clip of girl in a coma @ amoeba. That’s my all time favorite live Girl in a coma performance. Also, the singer’s dancing is crazy energetic. Makes you wonder how many takes it took to shoot this video, and how much energy it must have taken to dance so hard for this video. 😂
Yeah, had a big crush on Jane Wiedlin when I was a kid. Women that can play an axe are awesomely extra awesome!!! Tina S was amazing, it's a shame she just stopped doing video's.
