They shot a lot of promotional video while I worked there. I didn't know this existed but it was certainly fun to see myself and many of my fellow Busch Garden-ites! I do remember riding the roller coaster over and over and over - great day!
where were you in this video ? I found this on Ebay a few years ago.
Hbvideos hi - sorry didn't see this until now. I am all over this video - medieval garb at the beginning - on the flower cart waving, a bit of overacting but hey...
That's awesome. My favorite childhood memories were here in the late 70s/early 80s. I live in GA but we make the trip to take my family here every few years. I miss Nostramus and Threadneedle Fair. :(
It’s so different now. This sense of escapism and visiting the past is gone. It’s still a great park, but this kind of immersive experience is just not there any more.
Went there in 2002, when I was 4. I was so young and did not appreciate it as much, but I might go there again this summer!
Same I was for that year and I believe it was my first time
Still liking the Bush Gardens Africa!!!
Thanks for sharing this. I wonder if people purchased this to watch at home or was played on T.V at some point? I can't figure out how this was used. Maybe shown to investors? hahaha
Going through the loops at the sam time was awesome to experience. I remember it well riding the Loch Ness Monster when it did this. Do they loop together anymore? I havn't been there in over 15 yrs now. Hope to go back someday. Nice to see this flashback video too.
No. The ride system was changed from Manual to computer and its no longer possible :( but the Loch Ness monster is still there!
"The Big Bad Wolf":was a great ride & opened in 1984. But the real clue to the date of this film is in the closing credits: 1986.
awesome! how often do the trains on Loch Ness go through the loops at the same time?
i love how:
1. it's called "the old country" when now it's called B.G. Europe
2. loch ness monster is "one of the largest rollercoasters in the world"
3. lol, big bad wolf's cars were wayyy different even before they took it down just 3 or so years ago.
I just went there 2 days ago and still love it every bit as much as the first, probably more. some things do get better with age.
@skibum101184 Never, unelss a professional is controlling the trains...
