Why would anyone be excited for PS5 Pro? Most games are still cross gen. We haven't even seen much from the potential of the PS5 yet.
Good thing I switched to xbox and never looked back, so I won't be bothered by playstation.

Honestly if they actually show new first party games at summer games fest, they need to reevaluate their marketing.
They shouldnt have people leaving their own events feeling let down and then have big announcements elsewhere just after, the reveals should be going in the state of play with an extra look at sgf if they want to get on that
I think their marketting now is a response to everyone who bitched and whined about their marketing last gen, about how they "announced games too early" which is how I preferred it, knowing what was coming 2-3 years in advance was better than knowing what was only coming for that year, but nope, people had to bitch and whine about it and ruin what worked.

Detective Seeds on the BRAP podcast says he has heard from people he knows at three first studios that Sony has two first party games ready to go. He thinks they are saving them for the ps5 pro reveal. He also said they have new controller coming. Possibly the one in the Korean leak with the bigger battery.
Bluepoint has 2 games pretty much ready to show, Ghost of Tsushima 2 I think will be revealed before years end, it kinda has to be revealed before 2025, since I think Ghost of Tsushima 2 will be one of PS's planned big titles for 2025. Death Stranding 2 I guarantee will be at Summer Games Fest, and if this LEGO Horizon Game is legit, that pretty much confirms the MediEvil 2 Remake is also real. Santa Monica Studios 2nd project is likely close to completion, so it too must be on the cusp of being shown, and supposedly a God of War 1 & 2 Remake is rumored for its 20th Anniversary, which is next year, COULD be one of the games Bluepoint is working on.
Only thing I'm clueless about is whether Spider-Man 2 DLC & VENOM are to be announced/ revealed at all this year or next, or if there is going to be Spider-Man 2 DLC, as they may have scrapped it in favour of VENOM.
Might see Marathon, Fairgame$ & Lost Souls Aside early next year, probably at a State of Play.

@@aaronwalsh8469 - Jason Schrier implied that was what they were working on, but later he or Colin Moriarty said that the Bloodborne Remaster was shelved, and one of the two even said "Bluepoint were never working on anything Bloodborne related", however even if true, maybe Nixxes could be working on a Bloodborne Remaster and not Bluepoint, 2025 is the 10th anniversary of Bloodborner, so I can see a Bloodborne Remaster happening next year, and I've heard rumblings of a Bloodborne Anime being in the works by those behind the Castlevania Anime.
@@JP_Loco_93 yeah there was an interview months ago with the head of From soft, he said they have no say on anything bloodborn that Sony owned the rights. The way he was talking made it seem like Sony was doing something with the property. The fact that it never got 60fps patch is the clearest sign that they are.

I do feel it was a smidge too loud. As far as having music goes for every 1 person that complains I have 99 people who love it so it’s tough to just remove it even though not having music would actually make editing easier.

I disagree. They have given us many exclusive games this year, a profitable year for the brand, and we still don’t know about 2025 which could be the biggest year for PS5 in its life cycle so far. Now if there are no games that interest you personally that’s a different story.
