  • One hundred gold neurons seemingly float at random above the lobby at MIT’s McGovern Institute for Brain Research. But viewed from a focal point on the third floor, they make a surprising transformation - providing visitors with a sense of discovery that reflects the spirit of scientific inquiry at the institute.
The sculpture is made possible by a gift from Hugo Shong in memory of Patrick J. McGovern, co-founder of the McGovern Institute. Video produced by MIT Video Productions with generous support provided by Neil and Jane Pappalardo.
