Good concept but would have been way more interesting if you hadn’t already planned out the team, as it was, the wheel was pointless since you’ve already got all the players picked
Yeah, was trying to work out how best to have done it. Wanted the wheel to give it some type of structure mainly.

Nah all good, it was a choice of me choosing my euros dream team or the wheel chooses it. I personally think trying to choose it yourself, justify etc is better. But I get that it does make the wheel more redundant!
@@Clayts Probably have another wheel just for positions? For example, if you get France, you have to spin the 2nd wheel to see which position you'll have to pick. If it lands on CB, you can only select a French CB?
@alternate6198 yeah but actually think about this, it becomes a team of pure chance and different to the actual task of trying to justify which players you want.
We spin Italy, right back, we choose the Italy right back. Im not sure it’s necessarily better.
Personally I enjoyed actually trying to work out what the best team you can build is, but admittedly that does make the wheel a tad redundant - except for structuring the video slightly. J
Big Mama was a great pick. I'd have taken Lunin as the backup keeper and maybe taken Hagi from Romania instead

Yeah I thought about that, the issue was that then you just choose the player that plays in that position for that country and you lose the element of choice. But yeah I know what you mean!

@@Clayts I think that's where the challenge comes in for this piece of content. Because without it, the wheel is moot. Just constructive feedback because it got me trying out what kind of team i got to build!
I’d rather the wheel be moot rather than the concept though. And with the wheel deciding the player, the video is just seeing what the wheel chooses

Me too, I was thinking exactly that! And of course you win the league because you got most of Man City's best players. Liverpool's too. The RB was probably the toughest area, maybe the England choice should have come from there, with Walker and Trent being one of the options. With Krava in the team on the LW, Musiala would be the no 10 player and then an English RB, probably Trent, but if you wanted to weaken City more, you would go Walker hahaha
You could do another but starting from position. First GK. You make 2 spins. With nationality you spinn you have to pick 1 to main squad and 1 for sub. At the end tou left with 2 free spins and you could use it to strength lacking position.
Maybe to make this a bit more thrilling, don't remove the nation after you've picked a player. You will still need to use your reasoning and understanding of the player to make the most of it, but there is an element of random that you need to offset with skills :) Enjoyed the video in any case.

You could try doing groups for the wheel instead of teams and do a wheel for positions? Would give some choice but limit to one player per team
That could have worked, need to choose a right back from group c etc
Make a clone of each player that you pick and move either one of them to your club so you don’t disrupt the teams that you take players from so it would be a bigger challenge

Great idea of a format. But without any challenge/restriction, it was basically you presenting your all star squad picks for euro 2024. The best way for challenge+entertainment would be to play with 4 other mates, so you reduce the pool while progressing on picks vs human intelligence. So you don't have to .... "wait for Van Dijk" 😂 This also offers the possibility to watch some entertaining games after the picks are made. If you choose to play solo you should add a limitation factor, so it becomes more challenging and strategic. Ex: Squad to fit within wage budget X, total transfer value of squad X or use second randomizer to choose sector of field where the pick has to be from Def/Mid/Att so .. when Netherlands pop up you plan for Van Dijk, but are forced into a midfield pick instead. This last option adds more entertainment and tension when awaiting the results of the wheel spin.
But also i wanted to congratulate you on your keeper picks. Somehow Mamardashvili and Nita are actually the 2 best performing keepers at euro 2024 as of today (after 2 rounds of group games played).

Bellingham is not good as an AM, he should be CM or even more DM. Mbappe is a left winger, not a striker. Szoboszlai is amazing in AM position as a shadowstriker. Gvardiol is a CD, not a LB.

I know that you keep Germany spot for Musiala, but Kimich I guess is the best option for RB

Great concept of the video but i think you need to add the position wheel with the country wheel so that you have to choose based on the position as well so that it's more effective of a concept. Why not do another video for this? Nonetheless, love your content though!

@@Clayts If you would have 2 wheels you won't able to pick ANY player that you want, but might stuck with specific option. For example if you spin Georgia and middlefield player you won't been able to pick Khvicha or Mamardashvili. That is the point. Hence, more chances to NOT win the PL
@@Clayts I think is that would force you to make choices, because it was clear that you’d already picked the team beforehand. Just an idea if you want to make another one, mate 🫡
