      @@deltanovember1672 You wanted the evidence. Here is the evidence. An argument made for if there was no God versus if there was a God.
      If there was no God: Let's go.
      Things would be random. It would mean that for no reason, the big bang would be a random event. It would mean that every atom in space would have free will to do as they please. Light would be able to zig zag. A rock would talk. Now, nothing would have order because it doesn't need to. Earths could be flat, box shaped, there would be great diversity, but at what cost? There would never exist life, the existence of life is the solid proof that there is a God.
      Why there is God: Let's Go.
      You can google this. Everything in the universe has order. The fact that the universe has order is because it follows certain principles. Principles that can be observed and put into maths and equations. The fact that they are the same throughout a great fabric of space proves the existence of God. For example: If God didn't exist, a car if it were even possible for man to exist to make it. Would do the exact same thing and go 120kph the first time and light speed the next time. The formulaes of maths and the laws of physics are denoted to have come from a creative consciousness. Meaning the maths and laws of physics that govern the world existed before everything was created and in a creative consciousness that we have come to inherit from this creator. Ideas are wrote from a realm that doesn't exist in the physical space which is the mind, the mind can hold a great deal of knowledge and create new ideas from nothingness, which show that this creative consciousness was very much alive at the beginning. Meaning that if the universe follows a strict set of principles, a creative consciousness wrote those ideals. The discovery proves that ideas existed before the big bang such that after the big bang, the universe would do as instructed, meaning creation was not by accident. Meaning a God wanted and created all of this. The fact that the principles of maths and laws of physics are obeyed is in by itself a clear indicator that this world was designed and it has been proven true randomness doesn't exist even at the quantum level. So God does exist, it's scarily true. His existence is written in the stars and on how perfect planet earth is for life and also on how well designed the human body and brain is, if any single variable changes on earth, life would never have taken shape, like the earth is the perfect size, the perfect distance from the sun, it has an atmosphere, it has the moon to keep the oceans from ravaging the land. The beauty in creation shows the astonishing power of the God who created it all. Some people choose to blame the creator for a miniscule part of the problems that teaches him to be good because they have experienced or seen bad which is also perfect and key for self betterment, just because a few are sacrificed for many, God is called a monster. Well, one can either worship him or choose their path, but it's all not fiction that he exists. This is the evidence that God must exist. How to talk to him? Prayer. Will he answer? Yes. Will you like it? No or Yes. God wrote these principles and the principles in the universe are for a fair world, seek him and you shall find him. Whether he'd go against the laws he's made. I don't think any Government makes a law that it'll break, because msot people are dissappointed because they pray in a way that would need the laws of fairness to be broken which is selfish. However in the bible Jesus died for all to appease this Government. In all religions Christianity is closest to the truth if not the truth. Man's ills are because of his experimentation. People like to eat all sorts of things we didn't eat before. Test the application of new chemicals and abuse the use of certain substances believing they should be immortal and when they have a baby with defects, they want to blame God. People launch wars because they want to kill, but label it in the name of God and so thousands die. God is to blame for apparently every single thing that happens to man. The world has enough wealth for everyone, but immorality separates its unity. Man is at fault, man should never blame God. For even animals don't do it. They live principled lives even if they don't like it because the chance to live life in itself is a great gift, because this universe is the most perfect universe that could have ever been created, meaning its writer is even Greater. That's all on God exists and how he deserves praise.

    • @ReliableInsider
      @ReliableInsider 9 лет назад +28

      ***** If God exists, She certainly doesn't seem to want anyone to know that She does. Why play the Game of Faith, when it would be so much easier to peel open the sky some day and look down and say, "I do exist. Now love each other."?
      Theology consists of three things: a bunch of rationalization explaining why God allows such evil things to happen; a hoked up, sadly non-existent, system of justice by which the "bad" will be punished and the "good" will be rewarded; and gentle urging for those who don't believe in Hell to be good anyway.
      It's all so unnecessary.
      A man who does right even though no one is watching and who expects no reward is FAR SUPERIOR morally and spiritually to a man who does right because he is anxious about being punished at some point if he doesn't.
      Of the three Abrahamic religions, Judaism seems to come closest to the truth because it treats morality as something to be endlessly debated and seen from different perspectives.
      But even that hasn't prevented the Likud Party from becoming a moral catastrophe.
      There IS such thing as right and wrong but at the moment Christianity, Judaism, and Islam seem to be utterly at sea about which is which.
      1. Do no harm to others A. because you would not want harm to be done to you, but more importantly B. because you love others too much to do them harm.
      2. Help others and alleviate their suffering, either because you have in the past needed help, or, better, sheerly out of love.
      These two Abrahamic ideas are all you need. The rest of the holy books are just fairy tales.
      These profound ideas should be taught and learned once and for all in kindergarten. Grown-up seminarians are far too old to be hearing them for the umpteenth time.
      I would be more patient with "the religious" if so many of them weren't so goddamned hypocritical. Even to the point of becoming bloodthirsty.
      Atheists are concerned that if we encourage people to abandon religion, those people will sink to even deeper levels of depravity than when they were devout.
      But at this point, I'm not sure that's possible.
      Morality is HARD WORK, because it means you actually have to devote part of your precious time to actively helping others.
      And doing NO harm to others restricts people in the corporate world in a thousand uncomfortable (and counter-profitable) ways.
      But I invite Muslims, Jews, and especially Christians to . . . .
      GIVE IT A SHOT, without all the nonsense.

And then he expects you to love and worship him your entire life due to the few good things he does for you and if you don't worship him it will not only be a lifetime of torment and torture but an eternity of torment and torture in the fires of hell. But if you do worship him you get the reward of being able to spend eternity with the psychopathic maniac who tormented you your entire life. Now I'm not saying everyone is tormented by god. Infact most people are not. But what about the thousands of religious people dying and losing loved ones due to unpreventable disease and parents losing their children to unpreventable cancer. The billions of religious people living in dire poverty. The millions who lose their lives, loved ones and homes due to natural disaster. Those forced to live unbearable lives due to horrendously painful illness. We should not worship this maniac of a god. We should hurl desecration at his name.

    It's simple really...
    Life is bleak. There is no meaning. There is no life after death. We are a lonely planet within an incomprehensibly vast and dark universe.
    Along comes a fairytale that answers all our eternal questions, gives meaning to life, promises an afterlife and offers comfort and hope, sorely needed in hard times.
    The only catch is that you have to 'believe', and to believe you have to abandon all rational thought and objectivity. No questions.
    You also have to subscribe to sometimes strict and punitive rules and regulations, but it's worth it for the comfort blanket.
    The comfort blanket works better if you believe in it more, and this translates to being surrounded by like minded 'believers'. This is why there are churches, temples and mosques. They are all designed to 'reinforce'.
    If other people believe, then it must be true.
    The comfort blanket becomes stronger, warmer and feels more protective. How can millions of people be wrong?
    An Emperor's New Clothes dynamic develops, akin to mass delusion - a self fulfilling cycle that strengthens itself.
    The only fly in the ointment is when a non believer challenges the belief system. The very belief system that brings comfort and endorphins (literally).
    A battle ensues - happiness, meaning and comfort, but an abandonment of rational thought... OR... rational thought, and no comfort blanket.
    Like a drug addict, the theist clings tightly onto their comfort blanket and lashes out aggressively... Any self doubt cannot be allowed to develop. There can be no stopping to think logically, otherwise it means the end of the comfort blanket.
    This is why the religious hate atheists.

When people only believe through fear of punishment, it's not really belief it's more giving in to intimidation and erring on the side of religion for personal safety.
      Mind you if there was a god they would be in hell going by the rules of the religion as they are guilty of many sins. • @theamazingchannel470
      @theamazingchannel470 9 лет назад +3

      Chuck Sta. Maria Atheism creates a vacancy for position of "God". Man has desperately wanted to fill that position since Adam and Eve. Atheism is simply another religion with that intention. Yes, you read that correctly: atheism is another religion. So take Stalin, for example. He told his empire there is no God, the state party would be all the god they would need, and millions were killed or imprisoned for rejecting that atheist religion. Atheism kills, Chuck.

    • @theamazingchannel470
      @theamazingchannel470 9 лет назад +2

      "So again I ask you what doctrine or belief does atheism give to make a man kill another?" YOu answer your own questions: Hitler, Nazism, Stalin, Kim and Communism.
      You're answers are text book atheism 101 answers. Nothing original. You completely blow off ancient knowledge, insight and technology. Shame. You fail to see atheism has 3 times the faith required of most religions. Why do you think atheist churches are popping up everywhere? They NEED to believe, Chuck.
      You cannot... repeat... CANNOT .. leave a vacancy for the seat of God. Someone has to create a basis of "truth" and/or "reason" for society. That's where the nightmares of communism, facism, nazism, etc. begin. Nobody kills in the name of atheism. but nobody kills in the name of religion either. People kill in the name of their religious categories like Islam, Christianity, Hinduism, etc. So atheist do also. (communism, socialism, facism, etc).

    Stephen Fry said that he wouldn't believe in God because there was so much evil in the world. He imagined he would confront God (with superiority in his voice) about things like bone cancer in children. God would likely respond, "Yes, Stephen, it's horrible, and you and the rest of humanity should be ashamed about it." Stephen would respond "Why should I feel bad about it? YOU created it, not me." God could respond, "No, not me. I created a perfect world for you. Some called it Eden, some called it Paradise. There was no disease, no pain, no suffering. But humanity decided they didn't like my world, they wanted to be independent of me. Your race decided they would strike out on their own, and that means living in a world where I'm not in charge. Bone cancer in children, volcanoes, earthquakes, war, all of it, is YOUR creation, not mine." Fry wants paradise without submission to God, but that's logically impossible. If God creates paradise without humans following Him, He isn't God; what Stephen Fry wants is an all-powerful djinni to grant him unlimited wishes. We can either love and submit to God- because he deserves it- and reach that perfect paradise again, or we can turn away from Him and suffer both here and in the world to come.

    • @lewis72
      @lewis72 11 месяцев назад +1

      What a pathetically specious and flawed response.
      - Firstly, your points are merely your subjective belief.
      - Secondly, why should anyone be responsible and be punished for the actions of people that lived and died thousands of years beforehand.
      What would you think if you were to be arrested and locked up for the rest of your life for Nazi war crimes ?
      - Thirdly, if your god existed and created everything then it HAD to have created this evil that you're supposedly now trying to direct onto humans. Furthermore, as it would also be all-knowing it would have created these scenarios in full knowledge of the subsequent outcome.
      It's like if I lay a mouse trap for a young child to walk into, knowing full well that that child would walk into it and break its toe, and then blaming the young child for walking.

      P Henry
      For materialists, who believe that this earthly life is all there is to our existence, then yes, sickness & hard times imposed by a creator would be cruel (but that itself would not negate a creator). But if our earthly existence is only a stepping stone to eternity, then in that context the hard times we experience here are insignificant except for the benefit we receive from them. Even the Buddhists, Hindu's, and many other non Christian groups teach that from every setback there is a lesson, for every end there is a beginning. Hard times develop our character in helping us see that which we would not have realized otherwise, & are also a test. The lessons/tests we are subjected to, difficult as they may seem, are tailored to our unique character.... everyone learns a different way, & we even learn from the suffering of others & have the opportunity to help others in their hard times.... but we don't, which tells us something about ourselves. In this context the sickness & hard-times imposed by a creator is not cruel, as it has a purpose that benefits us in the long run. The materialists think about short term only, not the long term, as they don't believe their consciousness exists after physical death.
      What are the materialists who believe there is no God & that our earthly life is all there is to it, doing wasting their precious time here arguing about this, when they should be cherishing the little time they have left? Is this a contradiction?

    This is a copy of an email sent to me by an atheist friend of mine, I personally am an apathetic agnostic. "Why should there be a creator (God)? When the Big Bang happened, two universes (or realms) were created, the physical realm where we reside now and then a spiritual realm on a different plane, where we will eventually go after our physical bodies have died, because you can not destroy energy. Thus, no need for a God, it is just a natural path from one existence into another. Physical existence on this earth is limited due to our physical nature, but our spiritual existence is forever due to our spirit nature after we leave this physical plane. There does not need to be a God, an all controlling power, whom we pray to and apparently cares about us. It is not needed. So an answer to why God allows pain, there is no God, but there is a spirit world."

However you can not lump all atheists into one. Some accept there is a slight chance that a supernatural being created the universe, they would however ask "who created the creator".
