Jason Banks is a veteran stand-up comedian out of Columbus, Ohio. During the 2020 pandemic, Jason created a TikTok account and started making content, which now has since amassed over 9 million followers, over 270 million likes, and over 1 BILLION views. Jason’s viral skits detail the misadventures of his fictional son Derek and his friends, all played by Jason.
In addition to creating content online, often inspired by his 10-year-old twins, Jason performs on some of the biggest stages all over the country. After winning numerous competitions in his home state of Ohio - including the “Funniest Person in Columbus Contest” at the Columbus Funny Bone - Jason started touring the U.S. regularly. I haven't even watched it yet but let me just say you don't know how much this means to me 😢😢 seriously as a stay at home mom i don't have it to travel to see my favorite comedians. I hate not being able to support them monetarily but posting free specials, even just one, is so special to me because I'm DYING to go to a show. I appreciate this more than these comedians could ever even know 😫 thank you a million times over!
Well here's another little gem for you.. Ali Siddiq Domino Effect. You will probably watch it ten times over, it's absolutely BRILLIANT.. and, he's just uploaded part 2,so double the laughs. I love your style because the way you tell your stories are like conversations. Like you're talking with the homies, but you still have structure, a progression. I dunno if anyone else does it like that. People will tell the story, like they're telling the story, but the way you express it is so authentic. It's awesome.
