LOVE the stock look (no hood scoop, no fake Shelby parts, no fender flares, original chrome bumpers and mirrors, etc.) mixed with pro touring parts. That is my kind of style. I want to do something similar but probably less high-end pro-touring parts. Basically a toned down version for wheels that fit under the stock car, etc. (mainly for costs). Nice job. As a teenager, I used to own an original 1967 390 (non-GT) Mustang fastback, but I always loved the 65-66s the most and the fastbacks are too expensive. I also like a good coupe when it is done right.
At this event (Optima Ultimate Street Car) he was running in the GTV class, "V" for Vintage. Which has a 3200 lb minimum. Most Goodguys events also have a 3200 lb minimum for these cars. Otherwise, the rules are pretty open.

What class does a car like this race in?
