I love that you gave some spotlight to Britannic. Its always her big sis that gets the attention. I've been watching walk through videos and I think what you've done was amazing especially the RMS Britannic Mode
I know Britannic was never fully fitted out but I was surprised to see a piece of a chair from the a la carte restaurant on tv recently. It was found floating near the wreck site and has been in the same family of a survivor ever since. Were certain areas of ship partially fitted out maybe for officers?
I must admit, on my first playthrough of PotM I was getting up on the prow to do the King of the World bit, but the mine rudely interrupted me just before I could do it.
seeing the clips from ingame walking down the converted promenade with the air conditioning, open windows, Hospital beds, and curtains reminded me of the photos and wreck footage of the Filipino RO-PAX "Princess of the Orient" which had larger open air sleeping quarters which once were the promenade when it was in japan (and even to this day the curtains still remain mostly intact, if a bit tattered from the violent storm and sinking in 1998)
Its actually not that demanding. my old crappy pc probably could play on everything low. Check your specs. if you have a processor faster then 1.60 gHz then you have enough. Im not sure about the graphics card needs though.
It's really quite demanding. In THG demo 3 you can lower the setting quite a way without much of the beauty lost but here even on high or medium setting you can see things started to fall apart quick and the bloom effect would kill most of the rigs
Would you be able to do a short video on how navigation worked in Titanic's day? That is, how to get a "star fix" and a "sun fix" and how dead reckoning was done and "trued up" to the last fix taken? I think it would be interesting for viewers to understand how and why Boxhall got the sinking coordinates off by as many as 8 miles, and how Rostron stumbled upon the lifeboats even though they were in the "wrong" position, and so on. I know it's a complicated subject, but if anybody could explain it simply enough for landlubbers, I am confident you guys could do it.
I had really weird deja vu at the start of this video, and I was sure I'd already seen this episode (despite it not being published sooner), but then realised I follow another channel that did a video on hospital ships rather recently and that's what I was remembering.
Great vid as always Looking at 3:37, many people have portrayed Britannic's telegraphs with a white face and black letters Is that because of the movie, or it was believed that they were painted differently because of her being a hospital ship?
Had they closed all the watertight doors and portholes, Brittanic would not have sunk. Unfortunately, the explosion caused one of the watertight doors to be jammed open. All were open in the morning as the firefighters started their shift. Also, the portholes were open to air it out as it was hot inside
Hey, hope you can answer my question. If the Titanic split right before the 4th funnel, would that not have split the engine room in half ? Which part of the wreck does the engines lie within and what happened with the engineroom doing the split, did the engines split off or ?
Love BPOTM even though my dinosaur of a PC can't play it, I bought the game to support you guys, and I just watch the RUclips videos of others doing the walkthroughs. 😅
I would love to be extremely wealthy. So I could build a modern clone copy of RMS BRITANNIC II. The ship would have modern technology well hidden. The clone copy of this ship would be built at belfast Ireland at the harland and wolff ship yards. Bringing jobs to Ireland.
I bought the game trough steam. It’s nicely done. And I got it to support the team. But that’s the way how things go these days. For example: Adobe. Who wants to pay for that shit?

Titanic's unlucky sister ship... wow. Let that sink in.

TheOofertaffy yeah, but, since I’m still doing my HSC all we need is a chrome book, and idk if there’s a way to run it on there
I dont even have a pc!

I was able to run the THG Demo 3 on an Intel HD 620. Not the prettiest sight but at least playable!!
I never really used to care about Britannic but wow, you guys changed my perspective, thank you
I’m downloading this with my left over brith day money
Thank you for making this video. I learned a lot from it :)
I hope that we had more spaces to explore on the RMS Tour mode, Gio has made more spaces, I saw it, well maybe later you release it

At 1:46, you can see what appears to be a Lewis Gun on Britannic's deck. Is that a reference to the Britannic movie?
Probably.
@@suSnayC It looks to be in the same area of the ship where they shot at the torpedo in the movie.
it is.

The Geneva convention: The greatest hypocrisy of war! :))
No, the greatest hypocrisy of war are soft civilians who have never seen the horror of unlimited war whining about attempts to restrain that horror.
Great vid as always

Is that because of the movie, or it was believed that they were painted differently because of her being a hospital ship?
How many voyages did Britannic make before she was sunk?
She made five successful voyages. She sank on the sixth.

7:30 What did the US do??
Iv got about 4 hours time spent with the game its beautiful guys ty
Could you drive the Brittanic?
Would you ever do an episode about the firearms on-board the Titanic and there use by the Officers during the sinking??
