The biggest problem of Kennne has always been that he can't efficiently clear the minions wave.
Many assassins (eg. Zed, Akali) do much better than Kennen.
The only way to clear the minions wave fast for Kenne is use his E, but that is also the only ability to protect himself. It becomes very dangerous to sacrifice his safety just to clear minions.

15:49 why do ALL jinx players do that thing where they will have a 99% chance of getting a multikill if they sit still with mini gun and just auto one person at a time yet they ALWAYS switch to rockets, try kiting while walking on top of themselves and can't decide on who to focus so they split the damage

Your energy problem is not hitting anything with your e. It halves your energy bar than if you hit something it jumps up to about 75 5o 80 percent depending on where the natural regen ticks fall. Long winded I know but I mailed kennen for most of season 3 and got deep on the mechanics.

But I just want you to know that I watch you for *you*, not the game you're playing. I'd love to watch you play other games too, even if done just as a one-off test thing to see if they get comparable views
I greatly appreciate the daily uploads, your two daily videos are great to watch during slow times at work, and fall asleep to. But I'd still come back and be here watching even if you gave yourself a well deserved break every once and a while :)

Hey Zwag! You should try full crit Olaf again but with Navori's instead of Infinity Edge
The new Quickblades make his abilities come back super fast, you're able to use W before it's even over and you get so much more damage from the quickblades than you do from IE.
I've been doing it and rushing it 2nd or 3rd item, depending on who I'm up against, I've also switched to using Second wind and Revitalise on secondary runes for extra healing, but Shield Bash might be awesome with the low W cooldowns! The original inspiration secondary works awesome too.

Yes but the enemy Team didn’t group, and he didn’t get to ult more than 2 people at a time.
Be glad it wasn't Karma. She's a pretty bad matchup for Kennen if you're both of the same skill level. You dash in with your E to farm the wave, she shields herself, tethers you, and then mantra Q's you. You're slowed, and then she Q's you again when you run. If you passively farm with Q, she'll just hard shove you under turret and combo you if you go up to E the wave. It's rough.

god i used to only play kennen and have like 500k on him on my old acc. i ended up quitting playing him when they completely halved his ults damage and some other nerfs because out of the blue LCS started playing him when he was a completely forgotten champion.
its crazy that they cut a champions ult damage in literally half. league never makes changes like that now like they used to

Lil tip with empowered auto when they already have a stack on them use the auto and W before you throw Q. Stuns them for easier Q and importantly gives you the energy for the Q almost guaranteed.

Kennen will still struggle against tanks. His abilities end along with his energy bar, and even with the buffs he can, at best, deal 2000, maybe 3000 damage with his full combo. Which is not even half HP bar for any of the meta tanks. And they will delete him right back in his face, because his E has no reset.
Kennen doesn't need to fight tanks. He's massive utility for the team. He can either engage and kill their backline, or he can peel for his own backline and nuke assassins that come for his ADC and support. Either way, he's a teamfighting God.

Always loved Kennen, but never liked how awkward he was to play, since his scaling isn’t the best (I think he got nerfed after being shown off in Worlds) and exactly like Zwag said, SO many better picks with better range, better CC, better burst, and even more flexible again due to his sucky scaling

AP kennen is fun... Unless you get oneshotted by yi q outside of ult. If he doesnt oneshot you, whatever your and master's KDA, you just kill him. He is fun, but not in early.
