    Less than 5% of the world knows what an inch is.

      Sadly, I'm a stupid American. 😜 But a good reminder to include metric values.

      Yes. But everyone knows how to use google to convert to metric. Another wonderful invention from America.

    Well, my Flextail Zero lasted 1.5 trips and has stopped working. Even with a fully charged battery it does nothing when I try to turn it on. So I get to test out their warranty. So far, they have asked for a couple of videos, which I have sent them.

      Hopefully it's an isolated incident and their warranty takes care of you.

    Awesome review Troy! I'll oick up one of these for my next multi-day bikepacking race.
    I never considered the moldy inside of my mattresses, makes sense especially in the PNW where mold loves on everything!

      Awesome. Being able to multi-task while inflating your pad and in race mode is spectacular.

    Even easier to get a mat that has the sponge pump fitted onto it

      Easier yes. But bigger and heavier.

    I use something like this for my packraft. Slightly bigger than that. Works well but wasn't quite small enough to carry for a sleeping pad. Thanks for the recommendation, I'll check this out!

      Yeah. This thing is tiny. It wouldn't work well for a raft but it sure is awesome for a sleeping pad.

    I'm wondering if there are other devices that can take the same battery? Lights or ?

    • @TroyOnTrails
      @TroyOnTrails  7 месяцев назад

      Yes. Fenix lights has several options that use sn18650 Li-ion cell or 2﹡CR123A batteries. I have a Fenix PD35 light that I often-times use as a helmet light that works with two CR123A batteries. The BC221R bike light should also work with two CR123A batteries though I haven't tried that one. I use the BC26R which has a bigger battery.

      I use a Nitecore MT10C flashlight of 950 lumens that uses an 18350.

    Wow, this looks great.Especially when you are at elevation and having problems just breathing, much less blowing up your pad and getting lightheaded after a long day of riding. i'm going to try it out for sure! Thanks for the suggestion!
