Get well soon I have just spent a week in hospital they looked after me first class I am sure it will be the same for looking forward to your next update best wishes from the retired farmer 😊
Oh Andrew, I hope that they fixed you up. I’m sure everyone enjoyed the party. A wire wrapped hedger to take apart tomorrow. I hate that no one ever spends 5 mins to pull out old fences properly.
Nope. Ta. BTW you are the only person who has ever voiced the same opinion as I have developed over 40 years. Very reassured! ( from your earlier videos)
Well the best day I had when on the lorry when I taken load of tarmac too RAF Scampton red arrows were there for 5hr day work that must been 14byears ago. Any way hope you get better soon Andrew all way nice to see the video's.
Sorry to hear of your mishap on your house party day good to know other You tubers were represented. Today Wednesday 13th GB news was the only channel I could find supporting Back British Farming day but perhaps that was me.
Good update Andrew, shame about your injury mate, I tore my calf muscle once and it was pretty painful but I did mine playing rugby and not on a dance floor 😂😂
... Get well soon Mr Ward... Your commitment to keeping us fully informed is much appreciated..... Similar vintage; I am never seen on a dance floor.... it seldom ends well.....
Sorry to hear about your injury, best thing to do is give yourself time to heal, brother tore a bicep, tried to do a little bit of work took a long time to mend. Had a neighbor who snapped his achilles tendon, they put him on a mobility scooter, he used to go for miles visiting people and checking his farm, made a good recovery and he was nearly 80. Perhaps we might see you on a mobility scooter nipping round the farm keeping an eye on things, even testing a few scooter's ?. Get well soon and keep those waffle's coming.
Were they playing ACDC" shake a leg" I can definitely sympathise andrew, I tore my miniscus in my knee 3 months ago at work! Still not right And then 2 weeks a go i did my back in big time! Im not usually an ill person but sort of knocked the wind out my sails!! Hope you heal quickly! Maybe a leg update on wednesday!
Ouch. Many years ago, I tried to help somebody by pushing their broken down car out of the way of some traffic. There was me thinking I was still twenty and not forty something. Twang it went and yes, no movement could I make! Plenty of ice for 24 hours. Good luck though and hope you're not out of action for too long. Take care.
If you could mention Defras soon to close Hedgecutting consultation. One option is a return to Aug 1 hedgecutting start date which would allow farmers chance for a bit of hedgecutting where things are needed but our main priority is harvest and also allow hedgecutting contractors a bit of a break rather than having to run around like a mad March hare as is the current situation.
My message earlier seems to have disappeared, hope the calf gets better soon, and hope the party was great… congratulations on finishing the cereals and thanks for a brilliant update!
Hopefully, you're on the mend. Used to be a sign of a great night out having to be carried home. Many years (decades)ago, I lived at Caenby Corner near Scampton. we used to stop and watch the red arrows great viewing.
Hope you get better soon, Andrew. Enjoyable video. My father was telling me that he used to cut the grass at RAF Waddington and Lincoln show ground, with Ransome gang mowers when he was at Ardens farm in the early 1970s.
Great update as usual Andrew, think you've got the bragging rights over Olly with the red arrows clip! Admire your determination to get the sunday video out, take care and get well soon
Great video, you explaining and showing your yield mappings on tramlines before is what made us jump from 24meter to 42 and it’s one of the best things we’ve ever done yields have improved dramatically. Hope you get better soon Wardy !
Good to see you have completed your cereal Harvest, if some people only know what they are eating from imported food they wouldn't buy it. Sorry to see you had a mishap Andrew and hopefully it wont be to long before your getting around again.

It looks like we're going to get a decent bit of rain this week, perfect for the seed beds, and the temps still pretty good, perfect for getting the planted crops out of the ground and on their way. Sorry to hear that you’ve injured yourself Andrew, funny enough I’m in the same boat, walking across the farm yard yesterday where we’re building 2 new cattle buildings and slipped over on some gravel, broken ankle! Just like you it’s not a great time of year for an injury, with harvest still to finish and then planting to do. Hopefully you get better soon but you must rest up as much as possible 👍

Great vlog as always and I hope the house warming party was great too. I was listening to the farmers weekly pod cast and they was saying about talks ur under way with British sugar and NFU sugar beet team , and it was mentioned that British sugar import raw product to make sugar with . Firstly I thought it was all beet from our British farmers and if they do bring in raw product is it farmed to the high standards that you and fellow British farmers have to work to ? Point of interest had last weekend in Cardiff for British speedway GP and had many cups of coffee in different places and the only place who bought out British sugar sachets was a Brazilian restaurant which I congratulated them on
I look forward to these videos, and what a start! Seeing those Red Arrows was incredible. I'll give the iPhone credit for video recording. It looks awesome when I cast this video to the TV (as I always do viewing your videos) using Smart View from my Samsung phone 🙂

Couldn’t you get the council to reroute the footpath to round by edge of the field , which would be more interesting to the walkers , birds etc . I after , an almost sensible discussion managed to get nearly 2 miles moved a footpath that ran through the middle of 5 fields to the edge where I planted a meter wide grass path , which eventually they quite liked .

I know! 😖
Thank you. 😀
Great vlog as always Andrew!
Hope you gave Olly a hard time over his recent rant about ploughing and cultivations being so bad for wildlife 🙄🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
Can we see some footage of that MX135 hiding in the shed behind the trailer's (got to be my favourite older tractor)
You need to remember your age when you're bouncing around on the dancefloor 😂😂 joking aside i hooe you didn't do too much damage and get back on your feet soon 🤞🤞
Hows the merch plans coming along 😂😎😎👍
All the best Lee
I didn’t see that vid of his saying that! Will do some of the MX 135 when I’m short of content. The calf muscle is torn unfortunately.
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard get well soon and take it easy for a few days, look forward to a review on the 135 👍
@leecurry14 😀👍
Water flushes the urine out of the soil. It’s best to water the spot as soon as your dog pees
That’s fine if I see them but usually I don’t!!
@@WardysWaffleAndrewWard That was a quick reply, keep on eye one the grass as it will start to yellow before it dies, water it well with a hose as it can still be rescued, this will dilute the nitrates from the pee. you will start to see yellow circles..
and get well soon
Aah, that makes sense, I’ll keep an eye out and thank you,
Hope you had a good night last night !
It was fab thanks but now in A and E with torn calf muscle I think. 😖
You have to reduce the nitrogen in the dogs food
Could you not have left the barely longer before you harvested it and let more of them grains ripen?
No because the fit grain was so fit it would soon drop on the ground and the ran the risk of heavy rain ruining the germination.
Ooops falling over Andrew not good. Hope it’s not as bad as you think Take care and recover soon
Thank you.
How’s the leg
Not as bad as it could of been but still not great, thank you.
