It’s really admirable and his early songs are incredible still but his comparative lack of training at the time really shows in the vocals. if we ever get a remaster of this album i think i would transcend my mortal form
The singing definitely made it take longer to warm up to the majority of his first two albums, but once you try to enjoy it for what it is and really give it a chance regardless of the voice, then you start to really like the stuff; his lyrics and instrumentals are still pretty good here. Singing has always the weakest point in his music, anyhow (even though it's pretty good now).

Neil has improved his singing so much throughout his music, his singing in this is almost painful to listen to
