Drop shipping is when a small retailer (that typically sells in small quantities to the general public) receives a single large order for a product. These guys are the movers, not the retailer or the supplier.

the vast majority of weed in california isnt "legal" these guys dont have as big as a market share as people think and its not sustainable if weed laws in California are changed. Its not possible to grow quality weed and get it to customers at scale so legal weed in cali is dry garbage thats barely worth smoking. I started selling herb at 12 and growing at 15. I've spent decades in the business. When it comes to cultivation, apart from the few dready dudes I've met in the hills, I rarely came across any Black cultivators. I have met loads of Latinos, Hmong, Chinese, Bulgarians, Europeans, and lots of other growers of different backgrounds. Have definitely worked with lots of Black Cannabis enthusiasts, just very few who were producers.

Of the tens of thousands companies his team analyzed, less than 25 ever achieved greatness. Just thinking, if you guys do that in 10 years that would be something no one else has done.. But maybe if you truly are interested in building a great company, which is entirely different than an exit, you may want to expand your horizon by a few decades.

What I mean to convey is that it takes a long time to building something great, and 10 years was more of a figure of speech to indicate some significant amount of time. This industry is also on a massive decline because inventories are way oversaturated because it is a very easy crop to grow, legalization is bad for businesses like this because it has low barrier to entry, no moat and people can just grow their own. Canadian companies got slaughtered after full legalization because of this and the US will be the same. Their best bet will be to sell off the company to big tobacco who will steamroll the industry upon legalization.
