  • Making crispy bhindi (okra) in an air fryer is a healthier alternative to deep frying. Here's a simple recipe:
    Ingredients:- 500 grams bhindi (okra)
    - 1 tablespoon oil
    - 1 teaspoon cumin powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
    - 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
    - 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
    - 1 teaspoon kashmiri lal mirch powder
    - 4 tablespoon gram flour (besan)
    - 2 tablespoon rice flour
    - Salt to taste
    - 1/2 teaspoon chaat masala (optional)
    - 1 teaspoon garlic paste
    Instructions:
    1. Prep the Bhindi:
    - Wash the bhindi thoroughly and pat them dry with a kitchen towel. Ensure they are completely dry to avoid sogginess.
    - Cut off the tops and slice the bhindi lengthwise into thin strips.
    2. Marinate: - In a large bowl, add the sliced bhindi.
    - Drizzle with oil and add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, kashmiri lal mirch powder, gram flour,rice flour and salt.
    - Mix everything well so that the bhindi is evenly coated with the spices and flour.
    3. Preheat the Air Fryer: - Preheat your air fryer to 200°C (356°F) for about 10 -15 minutes.
    4. Air Fry the Bhindi:
    - Place the marinated bhindi in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
    - Air fry the bhindi at 200degree c for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.
    5. Check and Serve:
    - Once the bhindi turns crispy and golden brown, take them out.
    - Sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon juice if desired.
    - Serve hot as a snack or a side dish.Enjoy your crispy air-fried bhindi!
