I work for DIT and as far as pay goes, it seems very unfair that employees get the standard legislative increase on July 1st and then you have a select few who on July 2nd get a HUGE pay increase of an average of $20,000.00. WHY is this practice allowed to happen. I really don't care their job title - they are making big bucks as state employees. I have been with the state over 13 years and asked for a small increase due to time on the job and knowledge of my job. denied!
