I would like to see you do "The Lord of the Rings" jigsaw puzzles and the "Looney Tunes" puzzle. Love those movies and the cartoon to death, I also love the "Hobbit' movies. Awesome puzzle haul Vicky.
Absolutely 100% same here!! 😃 my brother, sister and I all used to love Looney Tunes. Lord of the Rings I’ve loved for as long as I can remember - when the movies came out, I remember being so excited. I just love them and can’t wait to do the puzzles 🧩😍

I purchased a 1,000 piece ravensburger jigsaw puzzle not very long ago. Do you know the Disney movie called “Alice in Wonderland”? That movie is made in 1951. I love the scene when the queen of hearts played croquet against Alice. One of the playing cards “2 of hearts” didn’t quite make it to the match. The queen saw the delay and yelled out: Off with his head! She even got mad when she finds out two of the cards put the blame on Alice by placing the paintbrush in her hands. The cards ran off when the roses got painted red. The queen got mad when she found out what happened. Alice wanted to go home but didn’t find it very easy. The result is the queen feel face down in a hole showing legs out and her slip. Alice has received the chance of going home with the guide of the king of hearts. He yelled out why Alice beat the queen in a croquet match. Alice explained she played fairly and the queen up got defeated. To get back on subject to the jigsaw puzzle: I went to books a million at the Auburn mall. The price is $29.99. The total turned out to be $31.28. The jigsaw puzzle looks easy but when you see the pieces, it’s completely different. It has softclick technology. You can barely hear the click when you’re assembling the jigsaw puzzle. What a nice puzzle haul! I‘m a huge LOTR fan. I bought the 2000 collection as a christmas gift for myself 😉 I really enjoyed them. So I’m looking forward to seeing you doing this series. The underwater paradise is on my wishlist! Maybe for my birthday… 😅

Love that 9000 piece. It’s been in my Wishlist for a while, perhaps I’ll buy it for myself for my birthday. I’d not seen the lord of the rings ones, but I have added to my Wishlist now 😀. Love, love lord of the rings. And I love pop culture puzzles. I recently did the Pac-Man challenge one. Loved it so much.

Hi Vicky - love the Ravensburger 9000 - I have the underwater paradise one to do someday. So many nice puzzles. The 500 piece circular ones are lovely too. I have the new one in my Amazon cart trying to decide whether or not to purchase. Decisions, decisions. Okay LOL so I ended up buying it.

Regarding The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in general. The Lord of the Rings movies I´ve never truly liked. I do LOVE The Hobbit movies. However, with the books I couldn´t finish The Hobbit and did like a lot The Lord of the Rings books.
...one day I´ll decide to read The Hobbit again. Currenly, and after finishing watching Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon Season 1 again (and while waiting for Season 2) being reading Fire and Blood and will be reading the Song of Fire and Ice books again (just read them once and even forgot the whole story...obviously the story is much more complex than the Harry Potter books that are so easy to read).

So I liked the Hobbit book and the Lord of the Rings books, but it actually took me several attempts to get into the LotR books, once I did I loved them. I loved all of the movies from both books - especially the extended editions 😃
I read all of Song of Ice and Fire too, and I watched the series, but I didn’t want to move onto anything else from Westeros/Essos until he finally finishes ASoIaF. There was one other I read that I enjoyed about a knight who was tall, I can’t remember the books name or even the knight, but I enjoyed that. That’s the only other spin off book I’ve read of his up to now. No doubt I’ll get around to House of the Dragon eventually - I do love my dragons! 🐉

This was a lovely haul to watch. I saw the newer circle puzzles when I was buying puzzles; I took a pass on them though as there were puzzles that I wanted more. That 9.000 piece puzzle is stunning and if I had the room for something like that I would definitely get it. That is right up my alley in terms of image.
I don't know about your situation, but if you really love it, you might make it work. I live in a 38m² flat and did a 9000 piece puzzle (on the floor). I think Karen Puzzles on her first go at the 9000 astrology puzzle was having it even more bunched up. I think I can recommend going for it, at least I have 0 regrets.

I did my Disney Museum 9k in a small flat too. There are definitely ways to do it, if you don’t mind a bit of shuffling around. I find using foam boards and building in sections a good way to do it with limited space 😍

I never thought I'd do big puzzles. I have a few 2k and 3k ones from thrifting or good sales, but I am still quite intimidated by them and also want to set them up away from my main puzzling area as I know they'll take longer to do...the 3k ones won't fit, the 2k ones will take up the table.
Anyway, I am still riding my own high from last week as someone in my area listed the 40,320 Disney puzzle behind you for $100usd. Open box, sealed bags inside. They're military and have been dragging it through different stations around the world and never had the time or space to do it...they are being restationed again and were over moving it around and realized they weren't going to get to it in a reasonable time. I jumped on it. It is one of those puzzles I just never thought I could justify the expense of but now I kind of want to establish a larger puzzle hub to work my way up to it.
I haven't found much in depth about its assembly and many videos are lower quality timelapses. I'd love to see someone work through it. I know that whenever I get to it, it will be 1 bag at a time.

Happy you get TLOTR puzzles. I built the 1st one last year, but sadly (for me) i did not like the 2nd and 3rd LOTR pictures so no set for me. BUt I strted the 5000 universe that is behind you and im having fun doing it 🙂
Thank you! I’m actually not sure what the Return of the King one looks like yet, but I think I prefer the image on Two Towers to Fellowship - it’s a little less sparse. Who knows which build I’ll enjoy the most though?! 😆

I agree about those large jigsaw puzzles disappearing quickly. So you have to act quickly if you want to get them. 2, maybe 3 years and they are gone. I have my eyes on some of those 5000 piece puzzles.
Yes, they do, and you just don’t know if they are going to become hard to find, or at the very least, uncommon and super expensive to get hold of!

6.Falcon-Celebration on the occasion of the anniversary of the Military Order of Maria Theresa 1861 (this is not available anymore, but sometimes appears on Ebay. Someone sells it right now there). I want this the most.
All great puzzles! I have the Space Odyssey and The Fantastic Street is one I would love to have, I like the image on that - gives me Halloween vibes. The View of Hawaii is one that Janette from Janette and her Puzzles is going to do in celebration of getting 5k subscribers - that one looks hard to me. Lots of large areas of one texture - very pretty though, I’m looking forward to seeing her do it 😍
The two Jumbos I’d never seen, are there large piece count versions of them, or only 1k? I’ve never done a large piece count Jumbo, but I like the brand have have done several Wasgij?
I also like the Falcon brand - the last one looks like it’s extremely rare. Ones I found when I searched it up were sold and on rare puzzles sites too.

The one on the right is Visionaria by Clementoni - 13200 pieces. It’s fairly new, it was a wee while before I could find anyone who was stocking it in the UK. The puzzle behind that, also on the right, is the Piatnik 6k playing cards puzzle.

I agree, they would not be an obvious pick for me either. I am curious how everyone is getting along with them, though! Sometimes there is a bit more to it than you can see from a quick browse on the internet. I have to say, LOTR comes with big expectations for me and so far I do not feel the hype looking at these images. To me they look a bit too random and a bit too unnecessarily difficult and muted regarding the color pallette.
They are a little muted colour wise, but I’m hoping I’ll enjoy them nonetheless - I just love Lord of the Rings ❤️
Good selection of puzzles there which you will enjoy doing at some point. Subtitles were having fun, you had a Clarb puzzle! I did that one recently and enjoyed doing it. Love doing the Circle of Colors puzzles. I've managed to obtain all of those apart from Insects, Dreams and Mushrooms which I have yet to see on any UK jigsaw websites. I'm also timing myself with those to see how long they take me. Certainly nowhere near championship times! My 'fastest' was just under two hours. Just started doing the Schmidt Josie Lewis puzzle called Coloured Soap Bubbles 57576. Look forward to your next video. P.S. Hope you received my email re the Lupins puzzle.

Which one was that? 😆 I love the Circle ones too, they’re so pretty 😍 that dreams one is lovely - I haven’t seen that one, I wonder why it’s not available here 🤔 I actually think some of the circle ones are super hard to speed run - I have good times with some and then don’t get qualifying times with others 😊 your soap bubbles sounds nice too - happy puzzling 🧩
