i love TSO! it's hard to imagine that they can sound THAT good when all they are is an orchestra and drums and a keyboard. Went to see them yesterday and it was amazing xD
I loved the performance they did in DC. They did an amazing job and I love this song. I love the quality that your camera has...my cell did a crappy job.
@angelsuphigh it was FANTASTIC !!!! except our show had no intermission so i went by a little fast... but besides that it was awesome !! chris and the other new guitarist gave me a wink and we went backstage their VERY nice people. hope u enjoy it wit ur daughter

i want to know what songs from Nutcracker are used.. the 1st one is Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy then is Russian Dance the 3rd is what?????? the 4th is March.. and the last one is Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy again right? can anybody tell me what's the 3rd one!!
I love you Amanda but I have to put this here: Back in 2008, at least they weren't getting sued for forcing their female bandmates to share locker rooms and change with trans biological males. Great song.
it is called A Mad Russian's Christmas, its ok though they do use the nutcracker suite as a base for the song. Love the song, i think its one of their best!
@MarleneBomer As a side note, the "Fresh Aire" series was MH's main project originally and for quite a long time, and had nothing to do with Christmas.
if you thought that was awesome, imagine the man and woman violinists running through the crowd, standing on a platform, then rising 50 feet in the air, only to have FIRE shoot out from under them, and on the stage. it was FUCKING AWESOME
Been listening to Technical Death Metal all day, I expected blast beats at certain points lol I'm very curious on how the patterns would sound in reality.
Rowdy Roddy Chung and I other girls.absolutly amazing and Chris Caffrey, his partner in crime, Tony Dickerson , and from horse head NY Jeff Plates and my favorite on keyboards Mee Yun Kim and not forget Derek Whelan and all the rest m
@MarleneBomer TSO directly branched from a classic rock/metal band called Savatage which was formed in 1978 and also had nothing to do with Mannheim Steamroller. Mannheim Steamroller never even released their *first* Christmas album until 1984, and in 1995 when Savatage's Dead Winter Dead (containing the Christmas Eve Sarajevo song that everyone associates with TSO), MH had only released a couple of Christmas albums even then. (continued)
I love TSO and I know they have awesome lights with their shows. Frankly speaking I would much rather watch them peform rather than the lights. I'm epileptic so the lights are troublesome for me
Where is a normal studio recording of this? This shit is live and its not from the live DVD which sounds very clear and powerful..This is good for audience live recording but i cannot feel these live homemade recordings like the regular normal plain everyday studio recording..You think it would be posted, but i cannot find it anywhere? Are the stoner dudes from that early1980s metal band called sabotage in this..Minus the original guitarist of coarse 'Oliver', i think that was his name not sure.
I can't imagine many people saying that Alex Skolnick is NOT a rock star... Says this not yet middle aged white bread american who flipping hates muzak. And may I remind you the founders of heavy metal are WAY past middle age now?
Just saw TSO for first time. I am hooked. Greatest concert ever. Sorry Neil and Cher. Much love from Detroit

@MoonLitCat Ha, yeah I almost didn't put that last line, but then I re-read it and realized...haha
I'm not sure I understand what you mean.
Can someone tell what song 1:19 is?
The nutcracker..
at 3:31 I had a vague impressions of the entire stage exploding in epic awesomeness.
@MarleneBomer As a side note, the "Fresh Aire" series was MH's main project originally and for quite a long time, and had nothing to do with Christmas.
playing violin never looked badass until now
\ml
if you thought that was awesome, imagine the man and woman violinists running through the crowd, standing on a platform, then rising 50 feet in the air, only to have FIRE shoot out from under them, and on the stage. it was FUCKING AWESOME
