We are planning a trip to Valencia this coming late October to visit our son who will be there this coming school year during his freshman college year. Wondering if you can tell me a few of your favorite side area trips? We were thinking of heading to Alicante and that area for a few days. Awesome video. Two questions. If I use metro, get out of the metro station and use a tram, is it a two rides or one? (Where everything happens within 90min) Can I check the state of Suma card? Thanks

    • @EverythingIsBoffo
      @EverythingIsBoffo  7 дней назад +1

      @@zeljkotodor I think what we discovered is that the buses will let you ride more than once on the card within 60 or 90 minutes. Metro or Tram doesn’t seem to do that anymore.
      You can check the status either when you validate or at the stations.

  • @erazembaskovec4574
    @erazembaskovec4574 6 месяцев назад

    I only have one question. When you get on a bus/tram/tube and you validate your ticket the first time, do you have to validate it again if you change buses/trams/tube (assuming your bus doesn't take you where you need to go, and you have to make a transfer) and your trip is still within the 90 minutes from first validation and it will still count as 1 trip, or do you not have to validate it at all as long as your trip hasn't exceeded the 90 minutes from first validation? Thank you so much for your videos, I find them sooo helpful and you two are very adorable so it's always a fun watch :-)

    • @EverythingIsBoffo

      Hi thanks for watching! I don’t quite understand your question. If you board a bus 2x within 60 minutes (sorry it’s not 90 minutes anymore) the second ride is free. ☺️ you do have to tap the card each time you board.

    So what’s better a tourist card or a regular transit card if staying more than 5 days

    • @EverythingIsBoffo
      @EverythingIsBoffo  Год назад +1

      I think it depends on how much transportation you will be using on those 5 days. The city is very walkable and most touristy spots are close together. A regular transit card will be more cost effective if you don’t need to use the bus/metro often and can be shared by more than 1 person because it’s per trip. And then you can reload as needed.
