My dad was a cash man too. He was so proud to pull out cash to pay for something. He had no debt when he died. He never made more than 40k a year, but he raised a family, bought and paid for a house by the time I was out of high-school and ended up saving a quarter of a million dollars in the bank when he died at 63. Cash is still king.
Been home sick with upper respiratory infection all week….I was happy to test negative for Covid, but I was absolutely delirious when I saw the notification for another CAST episode!🤣🤣🤣🤣 …..I’m feeling better already, thanks for the laughs guys!👌👌👌 Be safe, Be well!✌️✌️🥰🥰
My parents have always taught me to tip. I have always tipped waiters, mini bar guy and house keeping. Italian Canadian girl here. You get way better service and they appreciate it so much. No better feeling than making someone’s day and thanking them for their work and hospitality.
I lived off tips for about a decade of my life. So….I absolutely understand the importance of tipping! I can’t believe it when I meet ppl who don’t get it, or don’t care 🤷🏻♀️
I always try to tidy up the room (use trash can, put towels in a pile, etc,) . I used to clean houses as a nanny. I know what it's like having an aching back. Very nice of you, Sebastian. Most people would appreciate that tip. How you treat the little guy shows your true nature.
I am 80 years old and when going to dinner with my family I always have at least 200 in cash. most of the time my kid's pay bit I always leave a cash tip! Loved the Cast! You two are GREAT!
My parents always paid cash for everything! There is a restaurant that I love, old school Italian place, that ONLY accepts cash. And if you don't have cash, they send you a bill and you can mail in your payment!!
I love Sebastian I swear if him and his wife would agree to a reality tv show I would be glued to every episode. I got to see him live but it’s not enough it’s just not . 😍
If u pay with a card your giving less money than the bill. It’s usually a 3-5% cost to the business to accept your charge. So whenever possible pay cash. Especially to servers. If they have to wait for their tips the business already took the charge cost out of their earnings. Even if I use a card, I always pay the server cash.
"This all started with they don't take cash anymore" best episode ever. You guys should name each episode of your podcasts and that should be this episodes name.
Record the stories. There's no work for you since you don't have to write them down. Even if you never publish, you will have awesome memories recorded. Guaranteed you will have tears in your eyes when you hear their sweet baby voices years from now. And the grandkids will get a kick out of hearing their parents voices back when they were children.
respectfully disagree Pete, Top Gun Maverick was amazing. Last 30min almost melted my face off. Was it improbable? Sure. Cheesy? Sure. But c'mon man, the last 30min was incredible.
Famous Sinatra tipping story. He asked the waiter at Patsy’s what was his biggest tip ever. The guy said 100 bucks. Sinatra gave him $200 and asked him “who was the cheap bastard that gave you the hundred”. The waiter said “it was you Mr. Sinatra”. Probably not true but a great story nonetheless!
My Dad would half fold 1,500 in a money clip (100s/50s). Hearing the snap on my Dad's money clip when he pulled the bills out is permanently drilled in my head. 🤣
I carry cash every day: I call it my walking around money. Coffee, meals, market, gifts, etc There is something cool about having paper on your person. I know a lot of people who carry cash.
Sebastian doesn't understand how much time they have in each room not enough time to write notes. It was probably the mini bar person that took the tip
My son Nicholaus tipped a waitress in Dennys $500.00 at Christmas because she said she didn't know how she was going to get her kids Christmas presents and we were living i a hotel. ❤
I always pay Cash. Also, always tip the housekeeper's. My friend who worked in this field, taught me to tip. I Love ❤️💙 this Show! Pete & Sebastian 💙❤️
Sebastian, I had a story I told my children for several years at bedtime. My girls ask me to write them down and make a book, and I so wish I had written them down. I didn’t write them down because I was the working mom of two small children and I was ready to tap out by the end of the night. Years later I tried to write the adventures of the stories down and I couldn’t. The story magic was gone. Write those stories down. Your children or grandchildren will treasure them when they are adults
I would actually buy your children’s book that Lana illustrated!! Just listening to this podcast where you discuss it with Pete! How you make up your own stories to your kids!! I mean come on!! That’s cash money! Just make it funny! (Stating the obvious) but you need to give 10% to Pete for the idea! 😂😂😂
Pete, sounds like your daughter is having panic attacks. The same thing would happen to me as a kid, especially in enclosed places and my parents didn’t know what the hell was going on with me either. It really does feel like you’re dying but a little iced water to the face would probably help, that is if you can get ahold of some at the movies!
I almost never comment on these but here goes: My hairstylist (in a small PA college town) only takes cash. Luckily my ATM is two blocks away. I never carry cash. I always tip housekeeping good. Funny how I get the extra towels, coffee, tea, shampoo, bodywash etc. My linen closet at home is a sea of white with Hilton tags. I've gotten the thank you notes from the staff. One time I got a packet of perennial seeds with a note about sowing the seeds of friendship. I don't wanna be friends just make my bed and clean my bathroom
I worked for a popular restaurant chain that did that everyone shares the tips thing. Back in 1998, they'd split it up between hostesses, busboys, waiters & waitresses, etc & give you an envelope with cash at the end of each night. If we were caught putting any cash tips in our pockets & not in the tip jar, we'd be fired on the spot. Not sure if they do that nowadays... but that might be why the waiter didn't want to take half of your cash tip & get the rest on his paycheck. He may have been in fear of losing his job.🤷🏻♀️
I think his daughter is having a panic attack @12:00 I used to get them at theaters and when I was a long way from home when I was 8-13. Weird, I know, but Luckily I got through it.
Listen to Pete, Sebastian! Money in writing books. If you don’t need the money, set it up for a charity that gives books to poor kids or poor people, like me!!!😉
Cash payer here. Even when paying doctor, dentist, gas, groceries, dinner out. I even negotiate the hospital bill for cash.. I do not like using my debit card. I don't use credit cards... I don't want to owe anyone any thing. 👍
Sadie may well, with her dad’s AD/H/D genetics, have Panic Attacks ; but in this instance I’d put money on the additives in the blue slushy-which many are highly sensitive to. Those chemicals are NASTY, and should be outlawed !
Pete is correct in stating that labeling a tip a tip is a super smart idea! I am a super honest & respectful person towards other people's property so if I was a housekeeper, I'd be afraid you were testing me and therefore would not take the money.
I think my son was 8-9 when he started taking showers by himself??? Not sure. But he is almost 13 and he still wants me to read to him…I do inspirational, science, facts and sometimes ask Alexa to read to us! 😂
Great show!! A quick comments about housekeepers. I always tip them well. They deserves It, and they respect you and your valuables that way. Ive givenvthem 100$ tip and sometimes a small gift. Love you guys!!
My dad was a cash man too. He was so proud to pull out cash to pay for something. He had no debt when he died. 63? Damn thats to soon.
Impossible to live comfortably now off 40 k sadly...
Only these 2 could make a 5 minute water fountain discussion interesting
I saw the Irishman and when Sebastian came on I cheered like he was my homeboy.😂🤣
Pete's story about his Movie experience was hilarious 😂
Giant blue slurpees have so many chemicals in them, I would feel like I was dying too!
Learning about how Sebastian handles his cash makes him the nicest and most harmless wiseguy you’ll ever meet.
Excellent information about tipping!🙏
Pete has this great microphone in front of him, and is using the microphone from his headphones lol
Pete is a rare breed.
Yeah I agree. Pete I liked it when you used the mic with the headphones. You looked good with that set up👍
Yeah he should use the actual mic lol quality is way better
He sounds like he talking out of a metal trash can
Been home sick with upper respiratory infection all week….I was happy to test negative for Covid, but I was absolutely delirious when I saw the notification for another CAST episode!🤣🤣🤣🤣 …..I’m feeling better already, thanks for the laughs guys!👌👌👌 Be safe, Be well!✌️✌️🥰🥰
Can I ask u if you took the you know what?

I’d rather save the money and spend it on time at the house vs some ignorant infested restaurant. Presence over presents
For the room tip, just lay the remote on top of it. That makes it clear it's a tip :D
Underwater Pete is back
I can't believe he doesn't know.
Maybe he likes sounding like SpongeBob 🤣🤣🤣
So funny! Love that guy❤️
🤣🤣🤣
DJ Lou said Pete forgot to turn on his Audio, so I guess they’re using a backup
Sebastian is such a genius he tells the internet he carries CAAAASSSHH! 🥴
I pay cash for dinner too. I want service industry staff that take their job seriously to be rewarded by keeping their tip. They earned it.
Pete with the W. "Hey, Bill do we have s chacouterie platter" lol
Hey yo Paisans. Love the cast! So much talent. Gentleman, thank you for what you do. GOD BLESS
The whole phone payment is hilarious hahahahaha
LMAO he didn't see the ending... the MISSION! It's the best part bro.
Makes sense a comedian would completely make up stories with various characters every night 😅
I honestly laugh my butt off every week…you guys just talk about the craziest stuff and we never know what to expect 😂😂😂
My parents always paid cash for everything! There is a restaurant that I love, old school Italian place, that ONLY accepts cash. And if you don't have cash, they send you a bill and you can mail in your payment!!
Pete you aren’t finding that Celine sweatshirt a little bouncy? 😂

You guys need to hire an audio guy for Pete’s setup.
I need a guy!! Lol seriously!
I relisten to these !
Nice to see another Cast so quickly 😁...bang out more...🙏
I always tip the housekeepers - with a note - your tip, thank you!
You guys are too funny! You’re going to miss those days when they are older.
"This all started with they don't take cash anymore" best episode ever. You guys should name each episode of your podcasts and that should be this episodes name.
I love it. I never saw Tony Soprano pay with a credit card. Definitely makes that man more appealing. 😂
Im 57 cash guy lol hate to see cash go the way of the dodo
Cash is still KING, (for now).
Sounds like a great opportunity for a children’s book
I am cash too. Cracking up 😂
Around 24 min 20 secs. Pete does that Kramer laugh like he knows Seb is about to get screwed lol
As soon as I heard "not only that bro" I knew it was on haha
Drinking fountains 2022 = Petrie dish
Yay my favorite Soul's are on..Mid week in need of Laughter to keep moving forward...let's do this 🙃🙃
respectfully disagree Pete, Top Gun Maverick was amazing. Last 30min almost melted my face off. Was it improbable? Sure. Cheesy? Sure. But c'mon man, the last 30min was incredible.
Absolutely a great hang cast gentlemen!! Loved it...brightened my lousy day!! THANKS!!! 👍💯🤗💚🤟🐈⬛NM

No cash? I always pay cash, and I’m 20. Keeping it old school like Sebastian I guess 😂😂
"The fuck you doin making soup?"
Jesus, what am I watching my father? Lol
I just carry cash and I leave my cell phone home - I am free.
Free as a 🐦!
A good water fountain..it’s like getting water boarded?! Hysterical… lining up to drink water from a fountain, with good pressure, Old School.
My Dad would half fold 1,500 in a money clip (100s/50s). Hearing the snap on my Dad's money clip when he pulled the bills out is permanently drilled in my head. 🤣
I carry cash every day: I call it my walking around money. Coffee, meals, market, gifts, etc
There is something cool about having paper on your person.
I know a lot of people who carry cash.
You and me both
Me too never without it...a lesson from my parents...always have it in case something happens and you need it
Once the tab is paid it's over with.
Just gotta say, tipping with the scissor hands is the most badass way to tip
You are on to something, Pete. You're such a great friend !
Pete your hair is absolutely gorgeous!!! Love you guys
A year later but that is a beautiful thing!
I always pay Cash.
Also, always tip the housekeeper's.
My friend who worked in this field, taught me to tip.
I Love ❤️💙 this Show!
Pete & Sebastian 💙❤️
9:29 omg they crack me up! 😂

Black card is invite only and it’s around 500k in purchases within a calendar year
The nasal!
Lol!
Pete says cash will be gone in 20 years, part of Sebastian's soul dies (59:00)
I just have to see your two mug's and I smile.
I'm surprised Pete didn't comment on that Celine sweatshirt definitely a little bouncy there guy. Latta😀
Celine is a French luxury brand. A hoody costs almost 1k
@@azulposeido WOW
@@azulposeidothat makes it worse.
I stay away from water fountains.
I pay cash EVERYTHING !!!
Doesn’t Pete look like a doctor with those headphones lol 😆
Sebastian: Grover Cleveland
Pete: Pshhh, How'd that guy slide in there?
I'm In tears! lmao
Great ep

I’m someone who always pays with cash. It’s how I was raised and it feels simpler to me
Pete sounds like he’s casting from the bathroom
Barafina and Barusso😂

Best thing to make a person's day. I told an older lady that she was very dressed super sharp today. Made her day!
This guy really wearing a Celine Dion hoody?…man card is a automatic revocation …wow
He wore it before. It’s an expensive French brand not related to Celine Dion.
@@azulposeido oh ok…well either way ..🤦🏻♂️…he’s so extra …lol
Yeah but you don't need the robbers to know about your cash🤔

Thank you!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
LMAO!!! LAKE "CUOMO"
Always a pleasure!
No note needed on the hotel tip. Just fold the bill and put it partially tucked under the notepad or remote on the nightstand so it looks purposeful
As a person who also lives in Fredonia I was laughing about the movie theater story…. Our theatre is junk lol
As we hear Pete sparking up the lighter
hitting pipes in the background.
Love the Cast! 💫
Hey Pete! When are you coming to California? I would love to see your live show.
TIPS means "To Insure Proper Servivce" so tipping should be BEFORE you get your services.
Gotta carry the knot!
