I bought a twenty one key kalimba and I am wondering if I could mount a ten key kit notes thof tines forat are bassier? I'm kinda addicted to understanding how things work and I want a kalimba that will play a lot! I bought a 17 key beauty as well, paying mostly for the teal finish and flowers soundhole. I'm really drawn to the idea of building one, and I even got an eight key for having the tiniest option and the possibility that I can make a kalimba that does it all!

Does the screw tension affect the tuning? I have a kalimba where the bridge is not alligned well. i need to scre one side more down. but i want mess up the tuning..
