Hey nice Video! Could you do a basic rule video? Where you explain pockets roll ups etc up close so my friends and i dont have to argue on that anymore? Love your channel!
I first played spikeball. The net after a few actions loosened and we were forced to stretch it. This step was repeated several times. It's normal? And Is it normal that the ball bounces a little compared to the video that I see on the internet?
As many others have commented in this and other videos, when we play (total beginners) the ball doesn’t bounce nearly as high or far as the RUclips videos show. I’ve tightened the net so hard that the plastic frame starts warping and finally it kind of feels bouncy. Is it just that we’re not hitting hard enough? I don’t get it.
how many squares in are you asking? it is different per net.. because not every net is created equally. I do an eye test.. if I bounce a ball it should bounce maybe like 2-3 if dropped from like 5 feet.. but also it shouldnt stay moving for more than 2-3 seconds
@How To Roundnet, Do you leave the net on after playing, or do you put on freshly every time you play? We only played a couple of times and it feels like its losing its tention even during the game already
We actually have a video coming out soonish on how to take care of the net but until then, taking the net off at a couple different points would definitely help with releasing some of the tension on the set. If you have the time to take the net off each not it’s not the worst idea but I don’t think k it’s worth it.
There needs to be a drop test for the net like what you would do for a basketball. I've played to many times where one net is loose and the other is way too tight. Also what is the proper inflation for pro and regular balls?
Hey Preston! Thank you for putting this video together for the community. I understand that consistency is key but how do you test that the tension of the net is good? I believe Spikeball says to drop it from shoulder height (which is going to be relative to each player's height) and it should come back up 3 feet? Just curious what your thoughts are!
Hey, Preston. My friends and I just got into Roundnet and I have been enjoying your videos. There are a few things that almost always come up during our games and I'm wondering if you could do a video on some of the basic of the rules. We argue line-up rules (where people have to stand during services), the definition of pockets vs rim (what actually IS a pocket?), and interference (who has claim to the ball especially when playing tight to the net AND what happens if the ball is hit right at a defensive player?) Anyway, just some basics of the rules explained with video would be super awesome. Thanks, man. PB
whatever is best for you! The tighter the net the less pockets there will be, main thing is to get it consistent all the way around. Hope this helps man!
Great tutorial! Was hoping there was an easier way than "just go for it" like we've been doing!
I Don’t know how you found this video yesterday but I’m glad we can provide an easier way 😅
Time travel became real, .eciN
@@HOWTOROUNDNET beats me haha. I was in the playlists tab and it was there I'll tell ya!
I just got my pro set 3 days ago and I was struggling to get the net consistent. This helped a lot!
got your back my dooood
Nice.
Grant Laughlin even though some people have learned the secrets.. it still hits different when I read yours 🥰

Try putting more air in the ball
About how tight do you tighten the net? How many squares

How To Roundnet ok thanks

@@HOWTOROUNDNET Alright. Thanks mate!
Lol thank you!! I thought i was the only one who put the net on systematically!!🤘🏼🤘🏼
very nice. finally something i can send to my friends when they ask me to set up theirs 😂
Glad to be of assistance haha
Did it just that way. But the ball just doesnt bounce as hard as i want it to.

drop from your shoulder. Should bounce to your hip
Someone told me that comments help with the RUclips algorithm
someone could be right or maybe not.. not sure :P
Appreciate the comments regardless!

Is there a possibility to buy your blue ingame jerseys?
LETS GOOOOOOOOOOO
GOOOOOO LETSSS
LASSSSSS GUUUUUUUUUU
Where do you buy this ?
Spikeball.com
The net that came
With my spike ball kit is way too big
That didn't help me at all. How tense or loose is it supposed to be? Super tight so it's like cement? Or what?
