No you guys got the pronunciation right the first time!! Wooo hell yeah! So glad y'all are giving this a listen! Ps. Zakk was 19 when he started with Ozzy
In This River was a tribute to Dimebag Darrell Abbott. Part of why this song sounds like Ozzy is because it IS Ozzy, he sings the chorus along with Zakk on this track. And to answer your question, Zakk Wylde was only 19 years old when Ozzy recruited him. 🤘
BLS is seriously underrated. Zakk Wylde is insanely talented. He’s a fantastic guitarist and his voice is a mix of Ozzy and Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) to me. It’s interesting and addicting as hell to listen to. Their live shows are awesome too. If you get the chance, definitely go!! Great reaction like always. You guys are a lot of fun to watch!!🖤🤘
This is a great song, it's been a while since I've listened to some BLS. You guys gotta check out "Suicide Messiah" sometime, it's just pure badassery! Great reaction as usual guys! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
For BLS stuff, I strongly suggest "Life, Birth, Blood, Doom" from 1919 Eternal. If it had come out a few years earlier, it would have been a fantastic Biker Undertaker theme song lol
@@Hollywood6IX oh yeah, pretty crazy, they stole a deer skull from Dirty Nelly's restaurant and threw chairs off the balcony into the SA river and had to go get them 😂 and had a bath tub full of beer. The deer skull ended up on a mic stand the next day. Partying like rockstars🤘
My favorite Zakk song is called "Sold My Soul," from his album "Book of Shadows." Be sure to check out the band Pride and Glory as well...it was the first band Zakk formed after Ozzy. God bless!!
Best BLS album for me, Dead Meadow is a classic. Zakk will never beat what he did in ‘94 with Pride and Glory. That album will never leave my all time top ten. Absolute 🔥 🤘🤘🤘🤘
there is an acoustic verison that is on youtube where zac is in a radio station studio with just an acoustic guitar and a guy playing with him...its been around for 15 years and has less than 400k views...most amazing acoustic sound ive ever heard and of course his voice is spot on with no autotune..the video is made by delta bravo...please check it out...i listen to it in my daily mix...amazing studio set...check it out...video made by delta bravo
Zakk makes me want to have a scotch when he sings. This guy is legendary some of his ballads have a nice southern state sound that only he can make sound cool.
This was a duet with Ozzy, so you did hear Ozzy too. Zakk does have an acoustic version of this, which I actually prefer over this original album version.
I can answer all your questions about Zakk Wylde haha he joined Ozzy in 1987 at 19, wrote a pretty solid album called "No Rest for the Wicked", but it wasn't until 1991 with Ozzy's "No More Tears" album where Zakk truly shines! Some of the songs on No More Tears can rival older Ozzy classics. An all-time classic album. Speaking of Motorhead, you guys have GREAT ears! The songs "Mama I'm Coming Home", "I Don't Want To Change The World", "Desire", and "Hellraiser" were co-written by Lemmy. Then Zakk started a few side projects, including Pride & Glory, which is a Southern Rock band that is super cool. Then in 1998, he released the first Black Label Society album. All BLS albums are solid, but by-far their most commercially successful was "The Blessed Hellride" in 2003, which the song Stillborn is on. They are still going strong and touring. Zakk Wylde is playing guitar in the upcoming Pantera Tribute tour with Phil Anselmo and Rex Brown. I've had the opportunity to meet Zakk a couple times, and he is seriously so humble and nice to his fans!! Long story short, Zakk is a guitar legend :) Edit: Oh, also the song "In This River" is a tribute to Dimebag Darrell of Pantera. They were legit BFFs. Hence why Zakk is playing guitar in the Pantera Tribute/Reunion tour in 2023 :)
You have to listen to Zakk Sabbath. He sounds like Ozzy for sure. The River song was for Dime. 1919 Eternal is a great album. Great reaction as always. New Megadeth hint hint lol.
The riff reminds me of ‘Parasite’ (Kiss) Zakk was one of my first rock star husbands when I was 13 😆 Look at some pictures of him from the 80s, you might not recognize him. The leather pants… hooo boy he was sexxxxy 😍😆 I’ve always loved his guitar solos though
Still patiently waiting for 'Suffering Overdue' from BLS (it's on the same album as Stillborn), though I appreciate you guys must have a list as long as your arm! Have a great weekend everyone 🤘🏻
Ozzy is uncredited on the album due to contract stuff but he and Zakk have both mentioned he did the chorus. Other songs to check out from BLS are Fire it Up, Suicide Messiah, 13Years of Grief, Counterfeit God, also Hall of fame catcher Mike Piazza who is Godfather to Zakk’s eldest son Hendrix did the “screams of doom” on the title track from the album Stronger Than Death released in 2000
First heard this on guitar hero lol. Thought it was ozzy originally until I found out it was zack. But yes ozzy sings in the chorus with him too!! Such a classic!!
I saw a video the other day of Zakk Wylde playing a Pantera song, he went overboard with the harmonics. I hope he tones it down and stays true to the originals when he goes on tour for Pantera, I hope I'm able to see them live if the tickets aren't too expensive!
Zakk really has a fetish for pinch harmonics. He literally cannot function in his day to day life if he doesn't start pinching chords when he picks up a guitar
Black Label Society is great. I saw them live at Ozzfest ‘05 and while walking around I got to meet and talk to some members of the band, they are really awesome people. I suggest Suicide Messiah next.
Everyone is sleeping on BLS. The only reactions out there are this song and “In this River”. Gotta do Suicide Messiah, Funeral Bell, Suffering Overdue, Destruction Overdrive, Spread your wing, Been a long time, Fire it up……to name a few. These will give you a real sense of what Zakk & BLS is all about. Love your reactions btw
Is tomorrow finally Fear Factory Friday!!!!??? The kids have been asking all over the internet. The world is ready. Are you guys? It's gonna explode....😁
Ozzy was actual a guest backing vocal on this song. He sings with Zakk on the "SO LONG" part. Zakk does have some of Ozzy's tendencies while singing. However, I think for many people this was the first song they heard from Black Label Society and they don't know Ozzy is actual on the track making Zakk sound more Ozzy like than normal.
Best BLS song indeed!! Other good ones would be Suicide Messiah or Rust There is an acoustic version of this song out there performed live that kicks ass
Not BLS but still Zakk, check out Pride and Glory - Losing Your Mind. Also the BLS album 1919 Eternal was originally slated to be an Ozzy album (DTE), but Ozzy said it sounded too much like Black Label
This is a good song and you guys produce amazing videos but can you guys PLEASE react to All In The Family by Korn featuring Limp Bizkit, I've been requesting it for days plus it's soo funny 😂
Black Label Society is not death metal. Ozzy Osbourne was singing backing vocals on this song. Ozzy found Randy Rhoads and he also gave Zakk Wylde his big start. You guys really need to check out "Destruction Overdrive". 🤘🏻
And he recruited Randy rhoads from quiet riot before they got huge then Jake then Zach and I seen him tour with a man named John I think homes and went back to Zack he knows talent when he sees it or hears it
No you guys got the pronunciation right the first time!! Wooo hell yeah! So glad y'all are giving this a listen!
Ps. Zakk was 19 when he started with Ozzy
Great choice
Dang 19 that's awesome. Ian Ah Nee thanks for such a dope song and ALL your love and support on Patreon.
Hell yeah! You guys are fuckin awesome thanks for returning the love and taking my request!

you started your message with NO... that throws everyone off immediately. BTW (means by the way)

Actually, In This River was written before Dime’s death. Zakk dedicated it to him after.
Ozzy sings the chorus with Zakk in this song. ALso one of my fave songs, just soo good n catchy
That makes sense. Thanks for the update.
BLS is seriously underrated. Zakk Wylde is insanely talented. He’s a fantastic guitarist and his voice is a mix of Ozzy and Layne Staley (Alice in Chains) to me. Great analysis about Zakks voice....spot on...
This is a great song, it's been a while since I've listened to some BLS. You guys gotta check out "Suicide Messiah" sometime, it's just pure badassery! Great reaction as usual guys! 🤘🤘🤙🤙
Suicide messiah was my introduction to BLS, and it definitely made an impact. Great suggestion and I'd love to see that one as well.
For BLS stuff, I strongly suggest "Life, Birth, Blood, Doom" from 1919 Eternal. If it had come out a few years earlier, it would have been a fantastic Biker Undertaker theme song lol
I got to party with these guys at Ozzfest in San Antonio at a hotel with Blasko, Ozzy's bassist, and Robert Trujillo, all super cool people 🤘
That must have been dope

On Pride and Glory, Hate your guts is hilarious and very country tinged
SONG FROM GUITAR HERO!!
This is just a masterful guitar performance and it was amazing to see live, so yeah this song kicks ass
Ah BLS. I used to put Hangover Music Vol. VI on repeat and go to sleep every night. I still enjoy their cover of Whiter Shade of Pale.
Best BLS album for me, Dead Meadow is a classic. Zakk will never beat what he did in ‘94 with Pride and Glory. That album will never leave my all time top ten. Absolute 🔥 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Yes!!! I was hoping this song would get covered by you guys

Ozzy has always hired the best guitarists out there starting with Randy Rhodes! The drumming in this song is just sick!
Zakk makes me want to have a scotch when he sings. This guy is legendary some of his ballads have a nice southern state sound that only he can make sound cool.
Morning! Oh hell ya! I love black label society! Loved watching y'all bangin your heads to this song! Great song! Thanks for reaching to it guys!!❤️🤓
This was a duet with Ozzy, so you did hear Ozzy too. Zakk does have an acoustic version of this, which I actually prefer over this original album version.
In this river was a tribute to Dime bag Darrell from Pantera
YES!!! BLS baby! Man I could go on for days about songs to check out from them. love this band
"Godspeed Hellbound" is my very favorite "Black Label Society" song ... so heavy!
Zakk is a GOD on those strings. Love ya'lls content, keep it up fellas.

I already have this on my Playlist. Glad you're digging it. 🔥
There's an excellent acoustic/melodic version of this floating around as well
You have to listen to Zakk Sabbath. He sounds like Ozzy for sure. The River song was for Dime. 1919 Eternal is a great album. Great reaction as always. New Megadeth hint hint lol.
Zakk Sabbath has my favorite Bass player, Blasko from Cryptic Slaughter, my favorite Thrash is band, Drown, Rob Zombie, and Ozzy.
You should check out the acoustic version of this song. Never heard an acoustic guitar being shredded like that.
Bleed for me is another good one
The riff reminds me of ‘Parasite’ (Kiss)
Zakk was one of my first rock star husbands when I was 13 😆 Look at some pictures of him from the 80s, you might not recognize him. The leather pants… hooo boy he was sexxxxy 😍😆 I’ve always loved his guitar solos though
Oh hell ya! To me he looks like a guitar viking god haha. Love him! I used to joke around he was my husband too haha!!!
I was gonna say the same thing! He has changed SO much!🥰😋
Zakk played the Riff on No More Tears though which is another Iconic Riff!
Still patiently waiting for 'Suffering Overdue' from BLS (it's on the same album as Stillborn), though I appreciate you guys must have a list as long as your arm!

I’ve seen seen Zakk with his Black Sabbath cover band Zakk Sabbath a few years ago. It was awesome!!!
Zakk sounds a lot like Ozzy but Ozzy himself has a couple lines in this song. Love BLS though. Highly recommended live!
First heard this on guitar hero lol. Thought it was ozzy originally until I found out it was zack. But yes ozzy sings in the chorus with him too!! Such a classic!!
BLS are awsome 1919 eternal is one of favourite albums,SDMF/GIFD.
Zakk was 19 when Ozzy hired him. Listen to BLS Bleed for Me.
Its just his style, but he's a fantastic guitar player.
another favorite of mine by BLS is called "Counterfeit God", it's along similar lines as Ozzy's "Miracle Man".
Gotta do "Fire it up"! Ultimate heavy metal party song! When Zack sings along with the main riff it will blow you away. The solo is amazing too.
BLS!! My favorite band of all time! #SDMF
Black Label Society is great. I saw them live at Ozzfest ‘05 and while walking around I got to meet and talk to some members of the band, they are really awesome people.
I suggest Suicide Messiah next.
Great reaction! I hope you guys check out some of Zakk's early work with Pride and Glory
Everyone is sleeping on BLS. The only reactions out there are this song and “In this River”. I second every song listed!
Is tomorrow finally Fear Factory Friday!!!!??? The kids have been asking all over the internet. The world is ready. Are you guys? It's gonna explode....😁
Lol stay tuned Ian
Loved playing this on guitar hero 5 😂
Zakk's vocals are so Ozzy-like that it's barely noticeable there are two different people singing on the chorus lol
This is the only BLS song I ever remember hearing. Very reminiscent of Ozzy and the hair metal solo rips. The riff reminds me a lot of Dime
Zakk first played for Ozzy at the age of 16. His first band is called Pride And Glory and then after came Black Label Society
Another BLS song you guys would enjoy is "Fire It Up"
I’m pretty sure Ozzy actually does backup vocals on this track.
Zakk Wylde is actually from one town over from me. He was born & raised in Jackson Twp., NJ.
Awesome! Funny you should mention Ozzy, cause he co-sings on this!
Crazy or high. Crazy or high. Crazy or high. Really, the whole album is awesome. The album is called Hangover Music. A mostly acoustic guitar album.
I LOVE BLACK LABEL SOCIETY! You NEED to check out the Acoustic version of this song!
I remember seeing Ozzy on the No Rest for the Wicked tour and I think Zack was like 18 or 19!
Do In This River Live. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND!!! Ozzy sang along on this track.
BLS is one of those bands that don't make bad songs ever. This entire album is straight up FIRE 🔥🔥🔥
right now, yep
Good morning everyone. It's going to be a great day as long as you start it with smokey and hollywood.
Dang Ken this means alot. 🙏🙏🙏
@@Hollywood6IX I'm also in a fantastic mood because tomorrow morning will be my 10 year anniversary of sobriety.

BLS has a ton of great tunes. Before BLS, Zakk had a band called Pride and Glory. Check out “Losin’ you’re Mind”.
New religion and Hey You (Batch Of Lies) are two brilliant songs by BLS definitely check them out guys 👏
Always liked "Fire It Up" from them.
Netball is like basketball but you cant move if you have the ball. womans sport mostly
He also had a band called pride and Glory we should check some of their stuff out
The rift you are speaking of is crazy train by Randy Rhodes that was before Zakk 🤘
Fire it Up is another great track from BLS
Y'all gotta check out Doomsday Jesus by Black Label Society! That's a good tune! Sick riff!
Best BLS song indeed!! Other good ones would be Suicide Messiah or Rust
There is an acoustic version of this song out there performed live that kicks ass
Though In This River ended up being used as Zakk's kind of ode to Dimebag, it was actually written before Dime passed away.
Not BLS but still Zakk, check out Pride and Glory - Losing Your Mind. Also the BLS album 1919 Eternal was originally slated to be an Ozzy album (DTE), but Ozzy said it sounded too much like Black Label
Sounds like Ozzy because it is him lol
Listen to the blessed hellride, the song, which is also the name of the album this song is from. The whole album is actually full of bangers
"Funeral Bell," and "Fire It Up" are a couple more a**-kickers.
Just thought about another black label society song" overlord "
Ozzy is on this song...
Love Zakk so much, BLS is pretty much the spirtual successor to Black Sabbath/Ozzy imo
Zakk is joining Pantera for an album and tour next year
This is a good song and you guys produce amazing videos but can you guys PLEASE react to All In The Family by Korn featuring Limp Bizkit, I've been requesting it for days plus it's soo funny 😂
Once at again, never heard this song. He might sound like ozzy. Come on fellow trash talkers, let's get theses dudes to 100,000 already.
🙏🙏🙏
BLS is a wrecking ball of rock and roll.
How has no one reacted to "Fear" off of the BLS Hangover Music Vol. IV album...I literally don't see one. Fear beats the pants off In This River
i have to say that ozzy is singing pretty good here 💖✌🤘🖤
Guys, Suicide Messiah is a great one to do a react to
check out suicide messiah by black label society dope af
THere is an old video form MTV, late 80's. Zach is so young and skinny
It was ozzy on the chorus in this
You guys should check out Zakk Sabbath.
You definitely need to do Suicide Messiah next from them
just imagine Zakk in pantera, he and Dime were very close
Zakk Wylde is one of the guitarists out there
OMG please do more reactions of BLS!!!!!
you should listen to sleeping dogs by zack with corey taylor, great song and video. love your stuff 🤘💯
Black Label Society is not death metal. Ozzy Osbourne was singing backing vocals on this song. Ozzy found Randy Rhoads and he also gave Zakk Wylde his big start.
You guys really need to check out "Destruction Overdrive". 🤘🏻
Ozzy does like half the song so hence sound like Ozzy lol
And he recruited Randy rhoads from quiet riot before they got huge then Jake then Zach and I seen him tour with a man named John I think homes and went back to Zack he knows talent when he sees it or hears it
React to Black Label Society - A Love Unreal PLEASE
This song has Ozzy doing backing vocals on the chorus. Because of contract bullshit, he couldn't be openly credited.
Twisted insane underground psycho plz and highly recommend black label society set you free
Check out their other song Suicide Messiah. It’s even better imo.
and William Daniel McCafferty ?? 🤘
