PVC is actually easy to work with. Get some glue and primer and install a clean out. Basically a y with a 45. Then you can run your snake anytime in the future.
All you have to to is cut the pvc pipe with no more than 1/4 gap between the 2 pieces. Take the coupler and mark the pipe where it will sit with the gap dead center of the coupling. Take a coupler and dremel the rib out of the middle. Wear gloves. Glue up both pipes and the fitting. In one motion, push one pipe down to slip the coupler on flush with the end, quickly pull the pipe back in line and twist and push the coupler back so you can see your marks on both pipes. Much better repair.
We just put a sleeve on with hose clamps on the cut out since water pressure on a drain isn’t an issue. Just slide it off if it gets weird again. Why not go to home depot and get extra fittings? Because 1 I got too much going on and it works.
But why? It would have been soooooo easy to fix it the right way. couplings, new chunk of pipe. Throw a clean out in there. Whatever. Why put so much effort into doing it wrong?
Alcohol is the most important part. Always use it, not necessarily on the pipe.
This is the best advice here. Cheers.

Plumber here... I don't get it, but if it keeps dirt out and water in, you do you bud.
