↳ Hi everyone! Thank you for being patient during my 1.5-month hiatus. I’ve been trying to write this so many times lol! In this vlog, I’ll be catching up on uni after missing a few weeks in the library at 7am, and my life as a uni student living at home + a heart-to-heart about uni in general! I just want to reiterate that this is my experience and no one in year 13 or high school seniors should anticipate or base their uni experience on mine! Uni has been a hard transition for me where. I’ve started to have episodes of panic before and during lectures and seminars. I started to dislike going to uni bc I was always feeling anxious about interacting with others in my course and how others thought of me bc it took so much energy from me alone to take part in conversations, especially since my degree is so discussion based. so filming uni vlogs have been difficult and I’m pretty sure that it tainted the quality of my vlogs during late November and December time bc that was when it hit me hardest. It started to impact the little things like just going to the library- something I enjoyed. This experience was very humbling in terms of my relationship with being alone, and just coping with overthinking and analysing it can very easily get worse. With this taken into consideration I’ve decided psychology is not a career path for me. I can barely take care of my own let alone others' mental health, as a therapist or psychologist. However, I still want to work in healthcare thus I’m in the process of changing courses for a new change in environment and career I think would be best for me but more on that when things get confirmed! I have been meeting with a well-being support tutor recently which has been helping me feel and cope better! I haven't done this much brain-dumping in a while, haha but anywho I hope you enjoy the video and have a great rest of your day!
